I have been really wanting some realistic additions to the game and I thought that an update with physics in it would be a very great start. I also think that with minecraft, there isn't a real theme, but I love renaissance and medieval in anything. I don't really like mods because they are unprofessional, and unfinished. I think that adding that medieval feeling and theme, yall could build off that, and it could open up a TON more opportunities for the game.
I hope the you guys will take this idea in consideration.

Uh-oh, that never makes a game fun. Look around your Minecraft world. Do you see tall black teleporting beings, or green sad-looking strangers that explode in your face every day? Does your computer run on Redstone? These are all unrealistic, and that's what makes Minecraft fun. Remember, gameplay > realism.
and I thought that an update with physics in it would be a very great start.
Okay, physics. Is that all you're going to say? Just saying "physics" like the thousands before you have with no information will give this topic a lock.

Unfinished? Well, of course they're unfinished, the mod creators obviously are adding more things. As for unprofessional, there are thousands upon thousands of very well-made medieval or Renaissance mods.
I think that adding that medieval feeling and theme, yall could build off that, and it could open up a TON more opportunities for the game.
Whaaaaaat? We have almost everything, medieval themes included! Swords, bows, axes, dragons, stone bricks, and ugly peasants! You want a rocket ship?! USE IRON AND QUARTZ!
Also vague. What do you want from medieval and Renaissance times? Statues, or what? WE NEED MORE INFORMATION!
I hope the you guys will take this idea in consideration.

Incorrect, in fact, many of the Mojangsters read the forums. Dinnerbone is just the one who comments most often, and even then you're more likely to get a response on Reddit.
However, this thread is very vague. Actually describe your idea; what kind of physics? Most of the physics suggestions (blocks falling, trees falling, ect) have been suggested before and are therefore redundant.
Minecraft's theme is anything you want it to be. That's why on one world, I can be an astronaut and on another, a pirate. Get a texture pack, or play an adventure map. It doesn't need a fully defined, canon theme.

If by physics, you mean falling blocks, then I'd never see my floating island home ever again. Thanks a lot for giving anyone ideas.Congratulations on destroying my home, and many others to boot. Plus, we have dragons, bows, axes, swords, and stone bricks. Plus villager peasants. What more could you want?
