Add a new invention called the "Pressure Hopper"(gold/iron), this item will be crafted by simply putting a weighted pressure plate over a hopper. From a top view it would look like a normal weighted pressure plate with an black hopper outline to distinct the difference from a normal weighted pressure plate. This item will act as a Hopper, however you do not drop items into to it. Items go into the Pressure Hopper once a character/player walks over it (It starts taking the items from the top left, then move to the right). Also this Pressure Hopper moves entire stacks at once to quickly store or empty an players inventory.
The Golden Pressure Hopper only starts absorbing the players inventory if the player is shifting (crouching over it).
The Iron Pressure Hopper would however, starts absorbing the playing inventory if any state if the player is on the Iron Pressure Hopper.
The uses i see so far with these would be:
1. To have someone enter a building, and keep there stuff in a safe storage room.
2. Taking away any dangerous equipment when entering a building, like a security check point.
3. A trap to loot people's equipment (If the player isn't aware of the physical differences between a normal Iron Pressure Hopper[black outline] and a normal gold weighed pressure plate).
4. A long hallway filled with these to run down that organizes all your loot.
I think this is a good idea, however it could get annoying, for example:
You just go 17 diamond or have an nether star and are walking back to your house, and then someone just put one along the way and your character taps the corner and BOOM its gone.
lol same safer than some1 just got 17 diamond or a nether star and than BOOM a random person attack and kill them/or a creeper explodes them/or they fall in lava... point of the message is to be caution, its minecraft!
Honestly, I think the only way to access a player's inventory should be to kill the player, or to have the player make his or her inventory publicly available (as in putting it in chests, or throwing it away). This is the main reason I disagree with this idea, but I also dislike the idea of it moving whole stacks at a time.
While it's not a bad idea, I think it should be controllable in some way by the player whose items are getting taken. Otherwise, it'd solely be used as a trap to suck out other players' inventories.
I saw this idea as a quick way to organize and security check mainly lol, I mean with the security check its in option like you do not need to enter a certain building if you do not fill safe with your equipment upon enter.. and for this to be mainly a troll device to steal stuff, how many people actually willing run over pressure plates, hell i'm scared to walk over an random pressure plate I see. However, Deonyi shift to work seems like a lovely addition, I think i'm going to change it into the original post idea. Thanks for the criticism!
