New Biome, Volcanic Biome. Am area of stone, dead trees, dark rock, lava, smoke, ash rain, with a Volcano at the center. Also Volcanic islands, and dormant Volcanoes in jungles. Coal is highly prevalent here, with diamonds uncommon but present inside the Volcanic tubes (Caves) and the Volcano itself.
I am unable to really remember when a new mob type was added to the Minecraft world, I think it was the zombie villager but I am unsure.
Hostile Mobs
A list of all hostile mobs currently in game Zombie-Tank Skeleton-Ranger Spider-Agile light unit Cave spider-Same but tougher with lingering poison Silverfish-Ambush mob Zombie pigman-Pack mob Ghast-flying mob, artillery type, new challenge Blaze-Multi targeting range foe with fire advantage Creeper-Suicide demolition unit Enderman- Teleporting hard hitting foe immune to projectiles, specialist Wither skeleton-Offense melee Magma cube/slime-Weak but number based and they provide key resources Wither/Enderdragon -Boss role
Well balanced in many ways but the current enemies are getting stale. We all know the sounds, the weaknesses, the styles, it would be nice to add some newer mobs.
New Hostile mob idea list Shark
Ocean mob that sometimes swims into shallow waters, they cannot attack on land but will hunt any creature in the water including mobs like Skeletons. They will attack the player even in a boat, biting both the boat and player, and can destroy the boat. Sharks can smell blood amazingly well so any combat in the water could attract a Shark to that location or even cause a Shark to spawn. They do not spawn in lakes, rivers or ponds not connection to the Ocean, the Ocean being defined by size.
They drop shark meat, a new food, and can drop sharkskin, which makes an armor with the same defense as leather but looks different. Or make Sharkskin could do light damage to melee opponents because of the small teeth that coat a Sharks skin.
Shark teeth could be used as flint can be used, for arrows. Crocodile
A hostile jungle and swamp river mob. They can go on land but only stray so far from the water. They have a jump like attack which they use once at a battles beginning and a powerful bite. They will attempt to get a player or other food mob in the water and drown them by pushing them down. They hunt Sheep, Pigs, cows, Chickens, squid, Ocelots, Bats, Wolves/dogs, Villagers and players. They do not hunt Slimes, Skeletons, and such things, but do hunt Zombies because of the flesh. Troll
A powerful yet slow mob found in spruce/winter Biomes preferably near animal herds. Adds a new dungeon, troll cave, where a cauldron (cooking pot) and chest can be found. Loot includes-Bones, bone meal, wool, Meat raw or cooked, wood, and pieces of gear from eaten adventurers like helmets or swords.
Larger then your average mob, Trolls attack with a club or first, and have a high life point value. Instead of burning in the sun Trolls merely begin taking health damage and when it hits 0 they turn into a pile of stone. Only sunlight does this, other light does not. Loot from dead troll-same as chest with stone blocks added Vampire
A powerful undead mob found in specific vampire lairs, strongholds, and abandoned mine shafts. Within the Vampire lair there is the coffin or sarcophagus which contains very valuable loot such as diamonds, gold, emeralds, potions, and iron bars and most of the time but not always, a Vampire. Bats fly out of the coffin. The Vampire is a melee based opponent who drains your health into his own. Sunlight makes them catch on fire. Loot-Vampire ash's, 1-12 and bones. Vampires are the smartest and most powerful undead mob, their ash's can be used on undead mobs like Zombies or Skeletons to turn them into a thrall, your own follower who will fight for you.
Vampires near villages will seek out and kill villagers, feeding on them. When a vampire has fed, he will have an enchantment like glow, meaning he is buffed. There is a small chance a vampire will turn a villager into another vampire and a smaller chance if they kill a player to spawn another vampire. They know how to open doors, use buttons, climb ladders and pull levers. They can break pressure plates.
Vampire lairs are lighted with the occasional redstone torch, a few paintings, and filled with bats. Lava lamprey
A serpent that lives in magma in both our dimension and in the Nether, they jump out and can set you on fire, and drop buckets of magma or magma cream. They prey on Magma cubes.
Giant Mosquito
Found everywhere except winter mushroom and Volcanic biomes, they are a one attack creature, they swoop in take some blood and leave, eventually coming back. They prey on all soft skinned living mobs.
New boss Mob ideas Master Vampire
All the attributes of a Vampire, but they always turn villagers into vampires when they feed, and if they kill a player it spawns a vampire. Sunlight hurts them but their healing rate overcomes it. They can fling magic that slows down a player or drains their life into him, and his aura drains your life if you touch him. Lava Leviathan
A boss monster found in large Volcanoes a massive Lava Serpent that flings fireballs and streams of Lava.
Loot-10-12 Magma cream, Obsidian blocks, Diamonds.
Other Mob and item ideas Ospreys or Eagles
Ospreys/Eagles live in forested Biomes, the swoop down into rivers and catch fish. Killing one yields bird meat and feathers. Killing one that just fished will also yield a fish. They also prey on the Giant Mosquito.
Going into Jungles now all you see are cocoa beans growing everywhere. We need more variety. Also for how common they are they are almost useless lol. Bananas
Jungle grown fruits ready to eat. Heals 1 food bar. Coconuts
Must be split on a crafting table, heals 2 food bars. Can be thrown to do light damage. Chocolate bars-Milk/cocoa beans/sugar they heal 1 1/2 food bars and give you a run boost. Cheese-Made from milk in a furnace (I know a bit off) Sandwich's-Bread, meat item, cheese Peanut plants-Grow in meadows and village farms

Wish list? Its a list of suggested updates....in the suggestion section. Hm. Unless they changed the read before posting thread its main point was dont just say "We need new mobs", it said to give more detail. There is no reason for this to be against rules, no logical reason anyways.

While I really do appreciate that you read the pinned thread, KingzofDawn is correct, you cannot have more than one idea per thread. Threads that break that rule are called "Wishlists". As this thread includes a new biome and multiple mobs, it falls well into that category.

Actually,as long as your ideas are closley related, they are not considered a wishlist.Explaning a mob,it's drops, what you can do with the drops and it's evil counter-part is not a wishlist. But in your case yes,you do make multiple threads.

My Avatar is a Dalek, therefor your argument is... EXTERMINATED!!!
You know who can tell me something I already know? Me. All the time. I'm really good at telling me stuff I already know. I don't need help in that department. I don't know about others, but I can't imagine I'm alone here.
That is precisely what you should do, as TheqorzeeZ points out. While I generally think it is better to have only one biome per thread, you could have all of your biome ideas in one thread (as this thread does). All of your mob ideas should each have one thread, although the "Master Vampire" and "Vampire" ideas could be in a single thread, as could the food ideas (although not one topic for both food and vampires).
Having one thread per idea gives you the ability to elaborate much more than you currently have, which is a good thing. I really have no idea what these enemies, biomes, and foodstuffs would be like.
There is one last thing you have to keep in mind, that your ideas have been suggested before. Sharks, volcanoes, birds, crocodiles, and vampires have been proposed many times before, as have the food items.
