Alright, so I know there have been rumors of a red dragon, but I think one of the reasons that it hasn't been added yet is because there is no real purpose for it yet. What I mean by that there is currently no PLACE for a red dragon. So I have thought about this a lot, and here is what I came up with.
Red Dragon:
Spawns in one of those large cavernous open areas in the Nether.
Spawns twice in the Nether.
Instead of being able to regenerate health, it has a power. (The enderdragon's power is basically being able to regen) It can breath fire, because it is a Nether dragon. It has the same amount of health as the Enderdragon(Not sure on this). Upon death, it drops a Nether crystal. This can be used with the other crystal to make a Nether sword(Not sure what this does). It also drop 55-60 levels of xp. In order to track it down, you have to find something in a Fortress and use it.(This idea is still a WIP)
Green Dragon:
Spawns in a mountain biome.
Spawns once per world
This dragon could be killed, but isn't worth it. It drops 10 levels and 8-10 pieces of dragon hide, which can be made into armor, which is slightly better than iron, but worse than diamond. However, the dragon is tameable. But, it isn't easy to tame it. First, you have to saddle it. A dragon saddle is crafted with 2 saddles and 4 leather. Dragon Saddle recipe:
Nothing Nothing Nothing
Leather Saddle Leather
Leather Saddle Leather
When you saddle it, you have to climb on. Similar to horses, you may get bucked off. Unlike horses, After you can climb on without getting thrown off, you can't fly yet. You have to feed it a LOT of raw meat. Usually 32-40, but the minimum is 25. When you have completely tamed it, you can fly it around. But it isn't completely overpowered-fly around-shooting stuff-never dying-type of thing. The dragon gets hungry kind of fast. In order to keep it fed, you have to shift-click it on the head to open up the dragon's inventory. Fill this with raw beef, pork, chicken, or fish. If it runs out, the dragon gets angry. It will swoop around and throw you off. You may get thrown off high in the air, or low to the ground. It will then begin to kill nearby animals before landing. You can get on again, but the dragon eats just enough to satisfy itself, meaning you won't be able to fly for long. That's all for now!! Pics coming soon!! If you like this idea, please reply below, and thanks for reading this post!
As much as I think dragons in Minecraft would be pretty cool, there has been tons of suggestions about adding dragons, and they all work more or less the same way, so this is pretty redundant. Try giving them an interesting twist.
Also, please separate your points. It's hard to read.

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers what the Universe is for, it will be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.
