This would be a type of biome. If you've ever been to certain parts of Virginia or Missouri, you know what I'm talking about. There are huge, rolling hills that go on for miles. And, you can see an inch of ground because of all the trees. Here's a link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/3664243114/lightbox/
These would be very rare to find, twice as rare as extreme hills. The reason I made it so rare is for two reasons. First, since there will be so many trees, it will make is very slow. Second, you could find villages in the trees. Before I explain, I want to say the the trees here will be like oak, but taller and thinner. It is possible to find villages on giant wooden platforms in the trees. The villagers here will have better stuff to trade, the villages will be a little larger, and much cooler, and there is more chance to find very good stuff in blacksmith chests.
Another problem is with all the trees. With so many trees, it will be very dark in the forest. Monsters will spawn like crazy. So, to give you a reason to go in there, it's more likely that you'll find things like like mineshafts, dungeons, and strongholds. And for those of you who are wondering, I did not get this from the Star Wars planet Endor.
Might I perhaps get you to plant trees all over an extreme hills biome, then take a picture of it? It sounds to me like the biome might look a bit strange, so that would assuage my concerns. A picture of the village couldn't hurt either.
In fact, for the villages, all I see is "much cooler" and "good stuff"; I can't make much out of that. Also, how could villages generate in the trees? There's not a lot of space, unless you were using jungle giants.
That brings me to the trees. How could the new trees be thinner than the current one block? How is this biome different than jungle hills?
I could certainly be convinced that this needs to be added, but I need some more detail.
I like seeing cliff with trees, but there's a problemabout it because generating a new biome is very hard and also mojang is fixing some biome bugs and generating. sooo maybe next time because adding a new biome may add another huge bugs on the game.
I SUGGEST!
I'd like to suggest that you should add more details about your idea and some pics.

Whoops! I just meant that there would be really big hills. There would be some cliffs, but mostly normal giant hills. And I don't mean thinner then the normal tree. I just mean that it wouldn't branch out as much, which would make it thinner. And with the pictures, my minecraft is crashed for the time being.
