I have been thinking of something, i've been playing a lot of games lately, and i have thought up of something to enhance minecraft's selection of items...
Unique Items
These are sometimes rare items that can be only found ONCE in your game. These items are so rare and powerful that they do not have a limit whatsoever.
Here are some unique items i'm talking about...
Tyrfing- An ancient blade not known to mankind. Much more powerful than a common diamond sword. It has no durability limits, and is more effective against undead and creepers. The Tyrfing can be found sometimes in Strongholds, and has a 2% chance of spawning anywhere else.
Crescent Moon- A sacred bow not known to mankind. Much more powerful than the average bow. No durability, more effective against endermen and spiders. It is enchanted with Infinity, and can sometimes set the enemy on fire. It is sometimes found in Abandoned Mineshafts and Strongholds. It has a 2% chance of spawning anywhere else.
Sphere of the Tempest- A sphere that contains the magical aura of lightning. It summons a lightning bolt when activated. To activate, simply right click anything, and a bolt of lightning will strike it. Be careful when trying on creepers, it may kill them or enhance them into Charged Creepers. It sometimes spawns in Jungle Temples or Strongholds. It has a 2% chance of spawning anywhere else.
Sphere of the Inferno- A sphere that contains the magical aura of fire. It shoots a Fireball when activated. To activate, simply right click on anything, and a fire ball will shoot out. It sometimes spawns in Nether Fortresses, and will have a 2% chance of spawning anywhere else.

Q & A
Did you search? Yes, and I got no results. Because of this, don't you DARE say this is over suggested, since I can even SHOW you why it isn't redundant.
Minecraft does not need unique items. You may be correct, maybe not. But in my case, absolute bullcrap. Unique items make a huge reward for your hard work playing the game. It would be a shame to just fight the Ender Dragon and then get a crappy line of text at the end.
Do you think Jeb will include this? Who knows? It would be cool for him to do it. If he doesn't then it's not much of a big deal.
This is a wishlist. In case you don't know what that is, it is a suggestion with multiple suggestions that have nothing to do with each other. we do not allow those. Plus these are too over powered.
I veto your decision to implement this feature into the game.
No offense, but you can't veto it. You can only not support it. And to dejers, I think minecraft could use a little more RPG. Not huge amounts, but a little more.

They are related to each other under the main topic of unique items. I am guessing that those were examples of some unique items.
OT: This would be great on single player, but on a server, it would be bad. Also, what happens when you fall into lava with one of these artifacts?

But with epic, unbreakable superweapons.
What is the storyline for them?
What connects them?
Who built them?

No, I vetoed it. I guarantee this feature will not be implemented.

While there is a very low chance of this being implemented, it is not 0%. For all we know, Dinnerbone could be 99.99999% asleep, then he looks at this and secretly codes it into the game.
It's me again, after a few months. Okay. Uhhh... Hi? Welcome... back? We've... missed you..?
I have been thinking of something, i've been playing a lot of games lately, and i have thought up of something to enhance minecraft's selection of items... I'm not trying to be (too) rotten here, but adding a few rare one-time-only items won't really "enhance" anything.
These are sometimes rare items that can be only found ONCE in your game. These items are so rare and powerful that they do not have a limit whatsoever. That's sounds extremely overpowered. And Minecraft does have a lot of non-renewable resources, but these one-time items would really overdo it. What about in a survival server, where only one player could have it?
Tyrfing- An ancient blade not known to mankind. Much more powerful than a common diamond sword. It has no durability limits, and is more effective against undead and creepers. The Tyrfing can be found sometimes in Strongholds, and has a 2% chance of spawning anywhere else. Oooooooooooooooverpowered. Well then, there's no need to look for diamonds anymore once you got this hulking sword that turns mobs into minced particles of air. Dude, honestly? No durability limit?
Crescent Moon- A sacred bow not known to mankind. Much more powerful than the average bow. No durability, more effective against endermen and spiders. It is enchanted with Infinity, and can sometimes set the enemy on fire. It is sometimes found in Abandoned Mineshafts and Strongholds. It has a 2% chance of spawning anywhere else. Yup, that's all the proof I needed. You got all overexcited and bubbly over this idea that you didn't even take the time to think out the balance. Yes, let's make all other bows and bow enchantments useless for all eternity once finding this super beefy bow.
I don't really see much benefit in this...
Right, because who needs the Flare or Fire Aspect enchantment?
Those are my suggestions for unique items, feel free to come up with more unique items below! I have an idea. It's called "The Nope". It's a magic unseen aura that prevents these items from ever touching the game. It's sometimes found in strongholds, and has at least a 99% chance of appearing anywhere else. This item can't be collected, it's just... there. Forever.
Do you think Jeb will include this? Who knows? It would be cool for him to do it. If he doesn't then it's not much of a big deal. I've got some bad news. You might want to sit down for this.

Hey, you there. Yes, you! Are you thinking about posting a suggestion on the forums anytime soon? If so, please read this before doing so.

A few times, I have given a suggestion that was extremely, I mean much much more close together then this. But they locked it for wishlist. Mark my words, they are going to lock it. If they don't, then they must not like me much.

Maybe somebody reported your suggestions because he/she hates you for some unknown reason, and the moderator did not read the threads. I don't know. If you personaly think this is a wishlist, then you can report it.

Seems like its directing Minecraft towards an RPG though...
