Just a tiny suggestion and all but, could possibly something be added to tie them all together and show our support for the game?
I've owned the PC version for a long time, then the DLC Xbox360 version and I even own the new Disc Xbox360 version, as well as the mobile version.
Would be nice if fans like myself got a little something to show how much we support the game today. I even got the foam sword and pickaxe for fun's sake.
Would be pretty sweet to give some sorta little bonus, maybe a theme on xbox 360 or a cape or something to the account to show players who support Minecraft by purchasing all the versions even though they might only play on 1 or another.
Shouldn't be too hard to link Xbox and PC names together (via Email?) to have accounts share the bonus. Might be more difficult for other versions.. but even something for owning Pc, XB360DLC, XB360 would be nice.
I think it's cool that you want to "support" different versions even though you only play one. I definitely admire your fandom. But that having been said, it's really not necessary for you to support Minecraft this way. Minecraft has millions of sales, so it doesn't matter a lot if you bought it twice; they're not hurting for money. In fact, Mojang uses those numbers partly to determine who is actually playing the game, so if you bought it and you don't play it, you risk skewing their research and their perception of their market.
But, I do have a couple of suggestions for things that you could support, which maybe Mojang could add an incentive for:
Buy Swag: the t-shirts, the foam pickaxes, the Steve heads. You buy these things specifically because you support Minecraft, and your money can go to Minecraft. Maybe they could come with a redemption code that could give you an in-game perk.
Make your own Minecraft content: post on the suggestions forums, make a Let's Play series on YouTube, contribute to a podcast, blog about Minecraft, make fan art, etc. I don't know exactly how Mojang could reward everyone for doing this, but I can imagine a world which would be awesome if more people did this. (plenty of people already do, of course)
Support other indy developers: Notch was once an indy developer too. Of course you play Minecraft because it's your favourite game, but remember there are always more games to try, and more people making cool games, and you want them to succeed too. In some cases, the indy developers are modders making mods for Minecraft, which is pretty cool. In other cases, they're doing entirely original things, which is great too. And by the way, Mojang is making other games too.
Generic charity: probably a good thing to do no matter what, but there are plenty of good causes out there for you to get involved in.

Curse PremiumA theme... eh. I don't really mind.

Want to play Minecraft SSP like Spaceboot1? Try my modpack, all mods made by me, Spaceboot1!
EFF FTW. Protecting our rights from SOPA and PIPA is a very important job.
