Alright, so you know one day I was tanking all about on my minecraft world when BAM! I open my door and a horde of hostile mobs come and start to caressingly pound me. I died, but luckily I got my diamond pickaxe and cobble back. So this got me thinking, what if there was a camera, wire, and screen block. You could place the camera block somewhere, connect it to a screen block with wire (Which would act a little like redstone) and then the screen would show the view of the camera block. This would make it easier for players to know when to charge out battle ready, and when to come out mining ready.
So I take it you are suggesting a screen that displays what a remotely operating camera is capturing (if not, forgive me, it is what I understood from the idea). While the not-particularly-legitimate criticism of "it doesn't fit with the theme of Minecraft," and "it sounds complicated" come to mind, I would also like to point out that hostile mobs' ability to ambush is one of the few reasons they present the small challenge that they do. A way to circumvent that challenge might possibly be counter-productive.
Could I convince you to add some detail to your idea? For example, how do you craft these things? How do they work? How often/fast does the camera record or take a picture? What do they look like? What could they be used for? I would have a much better idea of what you are suggesting if you answered these.
By the way, you may want to increase your font size and change it to black, as it's somewhat difficult to read your post. You might also want to change the title to "Remotely displayed camera" or something like that; "New Blocks" is neither a very appealing title, nor a fitting one (they aren't really "blocks", per se). There is not, of course, any reason for you to do any of these, they are merely recommendations.
Too advanced, it doesn't fit in with MC, if you want to make sure there's no mobs, just use a pressure plate and note block to detect mobs a balcony over your door to see how many of what kind of mob it is.

Curse PremiumI honestly think that whilst Minecraft is a sandbox game, it is a game with technological limits including, the usage of a screen and 'CCTV' cameras.
A better way would probably be a kind of mirror although that would probably be a bit complex and laggy.
