Hello!

I would like to suggest a cure for Zombie Pigmen!
You could cure them the same way as you cure Zombie Villagers.
Throw Splash Potion of Weakness
Feed Golden Apple.
When cured they will become Regular Pigmen.
Immediately after being cured the newly cured Pigman
will 'reward' you by dropping anything from an apple, netherwarts or enchanted books!
Then after wards the Pigman will continue roaming passively.
Pigmen will drop Raw Pork with rare drops of gold.
After curing a Pigman it will protect you the same way it protects other Pigmen.
(It will attack mobs that attack you... )
If you bring befriended Pigmen to the suface they will kill Villagers on sight.
Then inhabit their village.

Hmm, sounds like a decent idea. What would the pigmen drop when killed though? 50-50 Support.

I figure they would drop pork with rare drops of gold,
They would also keep any armour they had spawned with.

For some reason I would prefer if they turned into normal pigs when cured. I don't know why. Maybe they should turn into normal pigs if they are the kind that USED to be normal pigs but turned into zombie pigmen via lightning. Possibly mojang could do this by listing natural zombie pigmen and lightning zombie pigmen as separate entities? I don't know.

Also, I think it'd be cool if there were abandoned Nether villages made out of Nether Brick and Nether Quartz. They'd be rare, rarer than Nether Fortresses. They'd have chests in them that have the potential to contain golden tools, armor, gold ingots/nuggets, enchanted books, nether bricks ( the items ), lava buckets, and obsidian. When a zombie pigman is cured by an abandoned village or lured there, it'd reinhabit the village and breed with other pigmen in a similar fashion to pigmen villagers.

Edit reason: yeah, pigmen breed in a similar fashion to pigmen. But did you know, pigmen and villager breeding is ALSO similar?

Supported. They should also be able to retain a little bit of the lightning they were previously struck with and use it against the squidwards. So it will be Squidwards Vs Zeus Pigs

pretty much the main reason why I like this idea is that it gives us the long-hoped-for pigmen mobs. And not in a game-breaking way either.
