I think in my opinion that Mojang could add simple Arcade Machines that have little games like " Snake " ,
like if you ever get really bored or something you could enjoy a little game in Minecraft. The Arcade Machine could also be " Server Friendly " and have Hi-Scores for each server in the Player Data files for the servers.
It would also be a pretty cool thing to have in your home for decoration.
I completely agree with you TekayMiner0426 :D. Personally I get bored of digging 3 blocks down with a shovel, or mining coal and iron for days and days...I would love to play some good old fashioned Snake I Love this idea.
If you're bored of Minecraft then get off Minecraft and do something else. Putting a game inside your game that you can play when you're bored of the game you're playing it in is just stupid.
Hello newcomer and welcome to the forums. Please note the "quote" button located at the bottom of every post; if you click on it, you can keep a copy of a comment you wish to respond to in the post you respond with (much like I have done here) in order to make it clear to all to whom and to what you are responding. Please remember this in the future, as it will be essential to your future on the forums!
On another note, I apologize if my comment offended you. I have been playing video games for a good portion of my life, and intend to eventually have a career in game design, so I do tend to hold a high standard for content suggestions. I can be rather caustic at times, but I don't intend harm to anyone (that isn't deliberately making moronic posts to annoy forum-goers), rather I intend my criticism to point out flaws in ideas so they may be improved in the future.

Yes. Yes I do.
It's not a new idea, and has been done before in tons of other games. TONS. Usually this sort of thing is meant to provide the player with some form of reward upon completion or reaching a certain high score, like a story-relevant item or one of those bonus items you really don't need and probably would only go through the trouble of playing the minigame in the first place to win it in order to get that 100% completion rating. More often than not, you'll bore of it moments after you've beaten it and gotten the reward you were looking for and never play it again unless you're doing another playthrough thus requiring you to obtain that item again.
This is like, one of those weird situations for me where I would fall in love with this idea if it were implemented, but still vote against it because it doesn't really fit too well.

Hey, you there. Yes, you! Are you thinking about posting a suggestion on the forums anytime soon? If so, please read this before doing so.
I'm sorry to say, but if you want to play an arcade game, close Minecraft and go play it.
Problems.
1. Having a game inside a game would be hard to get detailed work
2. Having a strong enough computer to even play both at once if it is detailed
Would be cool! There is already a slot machine plugin, where you hit a block and 3 columns of blocks rotate and stop randomly (usually used to gamble money on MP servers).

It wouldn't be that hard, it would just temporarily close the main game and load the minigame instead, then return you to the main game when you quit. It's not hard, it's not new, and it's not as cool as it sounds.

The Arcade Machine could look like this:
Snake Online Game: http://neave.com/snake/
Just an opinion and idea. Sincerely, TekayMiner0426
But in all seriousness I'd love to play some Asteroids or Snake or Pong or something.
But how in the hell would you craft it?
