With the new update to zombies, I got to thinking what if all the mobs talked to eachother? What if a zombie breaking a door would "call" nearby mobs to help attack the player. When a mob took damage nearby mobs could attack whoever attacked the mob. I feel there is no threat to the player. Someone on Youtube (link below when I find the video) was talking how night used to be scary when the game first came out but now its kinda easy to conquer ( Pro Tip: Dig three blocks down, jump in, cover hole, wait for day ). Also if a player attacked a peaceful mob ( Cow, pig, sheep) have nearby ones ( since they normally spawn in 3- 5) run from player making gathering supplies a little bit more challenging.
1.6 will have zombies "call" other zombies but having all the mobs around interact together would be cool. I'm glad this idea is getting some feedback.

That's not what a play on words is... How exactly do you "feel that there is no threat to the player"? Hostile mobs dial in on you with the only justification of simply being in range of them.

Agreed. To be honest I'm surprised Zombies got the ability to call other zombies to help. Mainly because they are usually portrayed as being dumb and until 1.6 snapshots were the stupidest hostile mob as far as ability and AI. I would have thought it would go to Skeletons, but they are kind of tough as is so maybe Spiders. Some Spiders do hunt in packs after all.
I wouldn't mind the passive mob thing, but I don't think the aggressive mobs need any buffs like this. At least not until the OP can convince me with a better argument than "Dig three blocks down, jump in, cover hole, wait for day" as his main reasoning for the game being easy, because you could pretty much always do that and it has absolutely nothing to do with actually fighting mobs. That is an act of avoidance. So when the OP can give reasoning that the game is too easy without cowering in a hole I don't support.

Okay I understand the title is not fitting. If theres a post before you saying that why repost??
The game is to easy because if you hide away ( digging down) there is no way for a hostile mob to get to you. I don't want the mobs to be able to dig around and see through walls but lets put in a scenario. Sun has been down a Zombie sees you, you dig down and cover up the hole hiding, If a creeper is nearby the zombie AI should talk with the creeper AI saying blow up here, thus exposing you to the night and having to fight. Now there would be rules because we dont want an actual house blown up so maybe if PlayerY < ZombieY andif PlayerX,Z <= 5 send message to creeper ELSE continue. ( mean if player is 1 block below zombie on y and is in a 5 block radius tell a creeper to blow up here if any nearby)
This is just to ideas on how to change the game they were put here to be judged by the community.
Playing around in my survival world I found that zombies can still be very dumb (using recent snapshot) if you can run away or have a sword to kill them in just a few hits its easy to avoid them spawning another zombie. Also there spawning feature is cool to watch just when all mobs are on fire because if there is a cave under the burning zombie lots of zombies spawn in the cave and sometimes above making another zombie burn and call more. Cool but i dont think intended.
