How many of you are desperate for a Minecon cape? How many of you would like items that aren't apart of your skin that are equipable or unequibable. Well if you were looking for any of these, than this topic is for you. My idea is that you would be able to buy equipment from Minecraft.net. You would be able to go to the store and purchase hats or gloves, shoes etc. You also could purchase a Minecon cape. All of the items would be affordable, around 1-5 dollars each. I understand that some of you may be thinking "why do this when you can just get a skin for free?" To counter this, The items would have that 3-d look to them. They would pop out of your skin, and you would be able to tell if it was just a skin or if it was an accessory. With this idea, you would be able to go to your profile on Minecraft.net and go to edit accessories. You then would a character with your skin and you would be able to skin him 360 degrees to get a good look at him. You then would be able to equip accessories. I think that this idea would be a good money-maker for Mojang and a nice addition for us players. Of course this would be optional and wouldn't necessarily change the way we play but it would be fun to show stuff like that off on servers!
So, you are basically saying you want pay-to-play aspects added to the game. This is NOT TF2. We do not need real-life money purchasable minecraft items.

Ever hear of something called running away? Its like running towards them, but without the confrontation and death.
I guess it is a good concept, but I still feel that purchases only will lead to further fights within the community. It does make for good money maker I have to agree on that one.

This.
I think the appeal of Minecraft is possibly the fact that you can customize your character the way you want, in the world you shape the way you want.
If you want a square house, make it.
If you want to live in a ditch your whole life, do it.
I really don't think that adding micro-transactions, although being a money-maker for sure, would really be any good.

Of course, no one likes micro-transactions.
If anything,
I'd like these features for free.
