Hi all, so to beggin, i need to tell you i'm french so if my language isn't very good, i'm sorry.
So i create this topic to speak about a new item of minecraft which is a good idea. An Automatic Item Creator It will be a mix of a chest and a tablecraft. When we click on it, it's open a window which will be in two parts. One for place block which will be use for the craft and on other part for place the receip of the item we want to craft.
I don't quite see why this would be needed however.
Personally, I'd only make it so that items still in the normal Crafting Table's crafting grid simply stay there when you leave the interface. I'd rather have a crafting table which doesn't constantly pop stuff out and on the ground (quite useful to keep recipes AND not have to craft all of the ingredients all at once, thus you could make crafting tables specially to some frequently used recipes, or just help you to remember them), than have a crafting table that is pushable by pistons (woweee, I simply wonder just how that could be useful!).
I don't mean to hijack the thread by any means, and I think I agree with you that this isn't really necessary (or the right way to go about it), but I've always found Minecraft's lack of any tutorial or crafting recipes to be frustrating. I take it you don't share this view of mine?
I like your ideas for the crafting table, by the way. I could see myself tagging crafting tables with item frames depicting what each crafting table was used for.
In fact, I wish that this new item is placed between two hopper connected to chests. When we place, for example, iron ingot, the into the first chest, the item creator craft iron block and then transfer into the second chest.

Do you see what I say?
An automatic crafter. What you want is to put the ingredients in one chest, and then (like furnaces turning iron ore to iron bars) the second chest gets the crafted item. For example, put sticks and string into first chest, tell it to make bows, and while the first chest has the materials, the second chest will slowly get bows added to it.
I believe that's what you are asking for, correct?
To me, that sounds like a good idea. Takes alot of the "I need 200 of these for my home" craftings into automated work.
Welcome to the forums! And your English is fine.
Though the idea isn't necessarily needed, it wouldn't bad to add. It would be cool to have a crafting table that held recipes in it, it also wouldn't be bad to have an automatic crafting table. It would be helpful to newer people staring out. It might also be cool to have a crafting table that had a small inventory. Anyway, this isn't a bad idea. Good job.

Retired StaffAre you saying that you want a crafting table that holds crafting recipes as well?
