Here's an idea for a new dimension. The new dimension is called Redstonetopia, it is also known as land of redstone. List of details below.
Getting There:
To reach the dimension a special type of portal must be constructed. The portal is the same as the nether portal but the blocks used in construction is Nether Quartz blocks instead of Obsidian blocks. When the portal is finished two redstone torches must be placed on the left and right side of the portal for it to activate.
Lay of the land:
Redstonetopia is mostly flat, however there's lots of lava with mountains that are actually volcanos. There also large underground caverns filled with lava flows. Water is available but it is red and when the water is touched you get a small damage boost until you get out of the water, the water itself cannot be brought into the overworld otherwise it'll disappear. The sky is pink colored when daytime and purple when nighttime. Biomes include mushroom forests, volcanos, redstone woods, rivers of redwater and a lake of lava. Note that bedrock, dirt, mycelium, obsidian, coal ore, gold ore, hardened clay, stone, gravel, iron ore and redstone ore also makes a appearance in Redstonetopia. Also any redstone blocks placed in the dimension will get a power boost
Weather:
It'll feature a new type of weather called the Redstone Storm. When the storm appears the rain itself and lightning appears. Unlike the overworld the rain is red and gives the damage boost buff to anybody (friend of foe) that is exposed to the rain. Lightning storms are light red and very powerful than regular lightning, it also strikes the land more often.
Eco:
The biome features a new tree called Redstone Bark. The leaves are white colored and the wood is maroon with inside of it bright red. The planks are more red colored than jungle wood planks. The tree can grow up to 20 blocks high with leaves that are 3 blocks wide. The leaves have a chance to drop redstone fruit that restores 5 points of hunger and gives a small damage boost for a short time. Grass blocks are red while the mycelium blocks are brick red colored and creates red spores. Mushrooms including giant mushrooms are very common in the dimension.
Mobs:
Electro Creeper: Watch out for these bad boys, they mean trouble! Their explosions cannot damage land but they deal 2x times more damage and the explosions are twice the size of the regular creepers. Be careful when fighting them during thunderstorm because they can also be charged when hit by lightning. When charged their health is restored and slightly increased plus the explosions are 4x times larger and the explosions will start fires. When killed they drop 1-3 Redstone Dust and 0-2 Gunpowder. They have a chance to leak into the overworld from an active Redstonetopia portal
Red Spider: They are dark red colored and they have green eyes. Unlike the regular spider or the cave spider the red spiders are neutral even when nighttime unless you attack them, unlike wolves attacking a red spider will not anger other spiders if you attack them. If you right click it with a redstone fruit you can tame it and it'll will follow you around attacking anyone that opposes you. If you feed two tamed red spiders with redstone fruit they will lay a egg that hatches up to 4 small redstone spiders allowing you to create colonies. Please note they deal less damage than regular spiders or wolves and they don't drop anything
Redstone Skeleton: These skeletons only appear in Redstonetopia, they can be equipped with either a bow or a stone sword with a chance of armor. They are a little faster than the other skeletons. Drops 1-3 Redstone Dust and 0-2 Bones along with anything they can drop
Spectral Anomaly: These strange beings appear during the night in Redstonetopia, They are weak but they can inflict a curse upon the players that reduces attack power, defense and speed. Drops 0-2 Redstone Dust and 0-2 Glowstone Dust when slain
Redstone Cubes: Don't let their looks fool you! They look like Blocks of Redstone but they behave like slimes, they make the sound of a mined stone block when they move. Beware of large ones as they can break into 6 medium cubes that break into 12 smaller cubes. The Big Redstone Cube has a small chance to drop a block of redstone while the others can drop 5-8 cobblestone and 1-2 redstone dust when killed
Generated Structures:
It features a giant pyramid made of red hardened clay with placed redstone torches and traps. treasures like those found in dungeons and mineshafts can be found here, there is a Redstone Temple made of bedrock, glowstone blocks and blocks of redstone located underground that can only be accessed from the bottom level of the pyramid. Also a giant tower made of obsidian with large rooms and bridges about 40 blocks high from the ground.
Blocks:
New Blocks include Redstone Gravel that behaves like gravel but drops redstone dust instead of flint, Redstone Pearl Ore found in volcanos and deep underground, when mined you get 3-4 redstone pearls that can used in decoration and make powerful redstone blocks
Bosses:
Oracle: Found in the Redstone Temple in the pyramid. The Oracle attacks using a army of Redstone Cubes with buffs that grow stronger the less health he has left. There is a green crystal that is in center of the area that serves as his weak spot, attacking him any other way will not damage him. Defeat him to make a Redstone Core drop
Titan of Cubes: This can be only created in the dimension, to create the Titan of Cubes, you must create a 5x5 cube of cobblestone with the center of it a Redstone Pearl Block. It is 5x times the size of a Redstone Cube. When defeated it drop 8 Energy fragments and will spawn 20 Large Redstone Cubes

There. That is how much "Redstone" you put in there, and half didn't even relate to redstone, it just had redstone in the beginning of it "Redstone skeleton". Seriously dude, like Mathy said, just go more on the redstone side but don't make everything redstone! The idea sounds like redstone said a lot of times and add some other words and boom, you got a brand new bad suggestion.
Btw, there are... 38 "redstones" in your post. Seriously...

By the way, there was 8 redstones in your post. If you add the poster's and your post together, that would be 46.
I'm such a math star c:
Redstone is the future of minecraft, it is used in contraptions and serves as a power source. After the redstone update I thought more ideas on redstone, The dimension would mostly be redstone based with some other parts that are not.
So, much, red... colorblind people will HATE this (seeing as red is a common blinded color according to my friends)
1 major improvement on this could be LESS RED STUFF.
1 in 10 men are red-green colorblind (or so I heard, actual numbers likely vary by region).
That aside, this idea is pretty... meh. It's like in the old days of games where to add more depth they would go "We'll add a new enemy. No a whole SET of enemies! And Bosses! But we are running out of cartridge space so lets use the same monsters we have, but with higher stats and changing their colors! Yeah depth!"
Cartridge data isn't an issue anymore. You can't just run a whole dimension around one gimmick. Well you can, but as you can tell, people don't like it as much.

This is completly uninspired and pointless. Never have I heard such unimaginative names. "Let's just add Redstone the names of everything! That will make my idea better!"
I agree, there was a suggestion for the "web" a dimension thats superflat and has spiders and cave spiders only. That is just like this, except web dimension was an example of a bad suggestion, and this one was an actual idea!

I already updated the first topic so everything is not redstone.
They mentioned something called Web biome, you should read it.
(its so dull doing this to every suggestion)
