How about actually putting information in the thread instead. You're trying to make a suggestion yet aren't putting any effort into elaboration apart from "google it."
It would be neat? You never said why it would be neat.
Without even touching upon this idea based upon what is written why would I support it?
The vagueness...
Why would you ask us to "Google it"? Why didn't you add information? Why did you suggest if it was going to be very vague?

Leafeon used Magical Leaf!
There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers what the Universe is for, it will be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.
We shouldn't need to go onto Google to know that you want a bioluminescent plant which would, quite frankly be extremely strange in Minecraft not to mention OP as it is essentially an easy to obtain, renewable light source!

This.
On a side note, torches are also renewable light sources which are easy to obtain.
And how would a glowing plant be strange in a fantasy medieval themed game such as Minecraft?
Oh wait, I just realized his profile picture gives a concept. (Hey OP! If you want us to look at your profile pic, at least tell us in the OP!)
1. The recent Bone meal nerf + Skeleton buff. Did you forget?
2. Please, not another one of those potion ingredient ideas. (No offense to those who created one. I just think people overuse the alchemy ingredient thing)
So yeah, refer to profile pic. I just figure it would be neat to have an alternative to the current level 14-15 glowing pumpkins, glowstone, fire, redstone lamps, and torches. That's all we've got for light blocks, which somewhat limits the kinds of atmosphere we can create.
I wouldn't want it to be OP, but torches are easy, and glowstone requires at least climbing the tech tree far enough to get to the nether, so it's not like you'll be swimming in free light the first 10 minutes of gameplay.
This refers to some current efforts to genetically engineer brighter glowing plants, but you probably saw the concept put to good use in scifi/fantasy movies like Avatar (blue people, not bald kid), maybe some of the recent additions to Star Wars, and maybe one or more recent video games.
_YOU_ google it, then give us the information. It's your suggestion, you do the work.
Exactly. The point of this isnt for you to tell us "I have this idea. You should do the research on it for me." Thats why I go to college, not why I come to this forum.

Your brain is so powerful, it would take a state of the art computer the size of a factory to come even close to matching the processing power.
It would be neat. Google for it.

Curse PremiumAnyway, what are their purpose besides glowing? Is it a potion ingredient?
