A forest that is traversable on land, but there are so much leaves above, it will be dark, and in certain places, you would see sunlight coming out from the openings of the masses of leaves above... Kind of like the sacred grove from Twilight Princess?

Isn't that a mod? It sounds a bit like the already existing forest biome. Minecraft could add, say, a rainforest biome, with taller trees that are more clumped together?

Well during the day the forests in Minecraft you could see sunlight anywhere and you can clearly see the sky above, but the forests I'm talking about are deep thickets with little to no sunlight.

I see... well, your ideas sound good. Iv'e seen that mod before, and it would be awesome if trees like that were added to Minecraft. I support.
There already is something like that, Twilight forest in FTB. While there are little things in FTB I'd like to see in Vanilla, I do not want Vanilla/main Minecraft turning into FTB.

For starters, twilight forest is not just FTB. FTB takes a bunch of mods that are meant to be alone and incorporates them together (very nicely i might add)
and secondly, just because it says twilight forest doesn't make it the twilight forest mod. he means thick bunches of tall trees.
Yeah, not everyone has played Twilight Princess, and judging by your avatar as well, this looks to be a suggestion where the initial thought was, "Woah! This looks cool, so Minecraft should have it too!" Not really the best method of making a suggestion.

But what do you think of the suggestion?
Anyways, basically what you're saying is a thicker forest. Well, I see that as the jungle, but I think I'm one of the few people ever who likes them, so I don't see the harm in adding "Thick forest" Biome, where only the large-oaks with branches grow, and much tighter. I think a lot of people would like it, even though I don't care too much.
When I typed "Twilight" I mean darkness, like thick canopies of trees. And maybe the leaves would be blue green or teal to fit in the darkness of the forest...

Eh... It doesn't sound very interesting.
