A guargantuar is a deadly creature that spawns at night. They are nearaly two times the size of the player, and they have 5 more hearts than the player's amount. They will drop 0-2 rotten flesh, and possibly drop 1 wooden, stone, iron, or gold sword. They could appear to hold what they will drop.
They have a spawn rate just a little bit lower than that of an enderman. They will attack the player by hitting the player with their arms or with the sword that they or holding. Being tough to defeat, they are also as fast as the player but only spawn in a group of 1-2 at night. They're weaknesses are enchantments. If your armor has protection enchantments on it, gargantuar attacks will do a lot less than normal. Also, enchanted swords will do more damage to gargantuars than to other mobs. Enchanted bows will also do more damage with the arrows that they shoot. A gargantuar also has a rare drop, a "Gargantuar Head." (as rare as other heads) as a decorative item (and for those of you who like to keep trophy rooms )
15 hearts
Weakness is enchantments and its size
Power is the ability to smash blocks one or two at a time
Rarity is a bit less than endermen
Spawn in groups of 1-2
Nightime mobs
What Do They Look Like?
Guargantuars look like they have the skin of zombies but also appear to have cuts in the skin from "past battles" and the skin is a lot darker than zombie skin with more detail. They donnot have clothes on, but they do LOOK like they have gloves and boots on.
Here's a demonstration on what they might look like:
What is the Benefit From These Beasties?
Well, to be honest, there seems to be more beneifts than there are negatives. One positive is that there is a chance that you could get a new decorative head. And you could get it for creative too. Second, they give you more XP than other mobs do when you kill them. Another is that you can get swords, tools, and other items from them. And the bigger the monster, the easier it is to trap it. Since the size of this creaure is tremendous, it is easier to hide from it or block its way to you. But, however, see the third NEGATIVE in the negatives section. And lastly, just the feeling of having a new mob in the game is exciting, isn't it?
What Are the Negatives Of Gargantuars?
Well, one negative is that there is a bigger chance that these guys will kill you considering their health and damage (3 hearts per hit oin easy, 3/1/2 hearts in normal, 4 hearts in hard. Secondly, they can break down your f<*king doors faster than zombies can! And lastly, they also have the ability to smash blocks with there hands, but only 1 or two at a time. This might be an issue for those of you who just created your starter house.
Weeeeeeellllll... Interesting, I guess. Although they should be slower for something that size. Getting chased by one of these would suck if you just created a world. Or if you can't sprint. Or, maybe it could be another boss mob, like the Wither. The concept is good, though

Probably not actually. With great size comes great movement limitations. Take the Spider. It can climb walls and through 2 wide block gaps, but it can't go through a 2 block high, 1 block wide gap like the player or most of the other mobs can. That means it has a number of unique ways for it to be trapped.
This should apply to this mob too. Judging from the description it is roughly the size of an Iron Golem. That means that while it can bust down a door and potentially let other mobs in, it cannot get through the door itself. This means that you could defend your house by simply adding a barricade on the outside of the door to prevent it from breaking it. One block on either side of the door would probably work.
The idea is okay, but the bigger these mobs are, the easier they are to trap and kill.

Yeah, the name is quite based of Plant VS Zombies.
Anyways, it lacks alot of info, How much defense, how much health etc
Well, let me reiterate, "it has five hearts more than that of the actual player (P.S. 15 hearts) and defense is pretty much similar to health. 15 hearts pretty much is its defense. but ill try to make some of my info more clear or add more to the description
Also with this, you are right. I did base it partially off of Plants vs. Zombies. It would be cool to have creatures much lke these on the game, but the one on Plants vs. Zombies lacks detail, so it was easier to add some of my own and relate the info to this zombie
