I think there should be more uses for levels, more items to make them more usefull,
One idea I had was the idea of was of a new crafting table called "mage's table" in which you could craft things with combinations of items and exp.
I hope mojang takes into thought that the only thing you can use exp for is enchanting, and should have more uses.
You would craft the table like this:
B P B
D E D
O O O
B - Blaze Rod
P - Blaze Powder
D - Diamond
E - Enchantment Table
O - Obsidian
You would upgrade Blocks like an enchantment table and crafting table and they would give better enchants for lower levels, or craft some things for less.
Or There could be some sorts of magical weapons that use up levels like a ligtning sword that uses levels to call lightning, or build a sword that drowns the enemy in exchange for levels.
There could be capes that give you powers, like a cape that makes you walk on water and lava.
... That's really not a bad idea. This mechanic would create a tier of elite items that require both material and levels to craft, am I right?
The only thing I suggest is that you elaborate on this. What kinds of items would you craft on the Mage's Table? How would you craft the Mage's Table to begin with?
I agree. This is an intriguing idea. I think you should elaborate on this, as said above, and you should make textures for the items/table itself. If I'm interpreting this correctly, I think it's a great idea, and Mojang should seriously consider adding it to the game.

I was thinking it could be for not weapons, but just stuff that fits magic, like maybe enhancing blocks, blocks that fall when activated by redstone like redstone sand, or a more powerful enchanting table.

Speed
Raises the amount of speed you gain from a buff Defense
Raises the amount of protection you get from a buff or enchantment. Attack
Increases the amount of offensive power gained from any buff or enchantment Affectivity
Raises the affectivity done from an effect such as withering, poison, fire and others gotten from anything.
That is all for now. If anyone can think of more stats please say so. I support by the way.

That's a good idea, though in a map i made that was in the game so i didn't want to self-advertise.

Thanks, and I will say more about it.
