My suggestions for new mobs. You do not have to like them, but please tell me what you think. Not all the ideas originate with me, a few came from friends who play minecraft but do not have an account for the forums.
Enderman
Instead of multiple endermen in the overworld at once, there should be only one. Wait a minute, you are thinking. Only one enderman?
They will spawn near your base when the game detects that you have your first strong weapon (for example, a silver sword). In multiplayer this would put other players at a disadvantage, as the first player to get such a weapon would let the enderman loose on players who cannot cope. Thus the enderman could be 'personal' for each player - other players will not be able to see it. There will be as many endermen as players on a server.
They will attempt to stay away from light at all costs, as well as water. They do not take damage from these, but they will try to teleport away. If they are caught in light, their damage is reduced by 30%.
Their health points have doubled, damage increased by 30%, and at night they teleport in front of your base, into your vision, at the edge of your torchlight.
If you do not keep looking at them, they will extinguish one of your torches every five seconds until it is safe for them to come in, until you look at them again. These torches can be relit with flint and steel.
They drop an additional ingredient, the Vengeance Pearl. Its uses will be explained shortly.
If you survive the night the enderman will teleport to a cave which it has claimed as its den. The cave will usually have an opening on the surface, but will be indistinguishable from a normal cave unless you enter it.
If you change your base, the enderman will also change its den to one closer to you. If necessary, it will make one.
This is when they are most vulnerable, doing only half their normal damage. When they die, they will respawn after 3-8 days.
The reason I put such a long re-spawn time is so that players have time to recover and patch up gaps the endermen made, as well as better prepare themselves.
The Vengeance Pearl can be used to revive the enderman it was taken from immediately, in which case the enderman returns to the cave it claimed. Nine of these can be crafted into a single Ender Soul, which can be used in multiplayer on an opponent so that your enderman attacks them for the next three nights.
If they cannot break through your wall they may try to move a few blocks around it. This may create an opening for other creatures, so patch it up as soon as you can.
The Endermen at the End are provoked like the original Endermen, and have the same stats.
No support. Endermen should be endermen, not magical 'thought' thinking monsters. Creepers should stay how they are, they are part of Minecraft and should not be meddled with. Spider is too OP. Villager idea is redundant.
I can just imagine an epiosode of Ethos lets play, where for the entire epiosode he is harrased by this enderman, thus ruining it. No, endermen should not be these assassins that hunt you for 10 minutes and take out all your torches. Thats just plain annoying.
Basically everything everyone else said. It's not Slenderman, it's Enderman, it's not something that stalks you for days and harasses you, and gives you something else the think about at all times.

I hate people who complain. I hate spiders. I hate people who own an Xbox One. I hate people who like sandbox games. I hate people who like first person shooters. I hate people who like explosions. I hate people who like video games. I hate people who are hateful. I hate people that don't like spam. I hate people who like cake. I hate people who type in proper grammar and spell words properly on the internet. I hate hypocrites.
