Hey guys what's up. I have been thinking about these suggestions since 1.2 now. For the main suggestion I have always been bored with the lack of armors. Currently their are only 5 sets of armors which are leather, gold, chain, iron, diamond. I think it would be very interesting to the community if you managed to add a new armor or two.
Steel Tier (Armor and Tools)
One of the armor suggestions I have is steel armor which would be the tier after iron armor and before diamond armor. To create steel bars you would combine 2 iron and 1 carbon (or coal). It would be more realistic if we had carbon but to make it easier for players to tell the difference from coal or carbon you could make it so the recipe is 2 iron and 1 coal.
HellStone Ore
Another quick thing I would just like to throw in here if you do not like the steel armor idea another idea is adding another use in the nether which would be Nether ore or "Hellstone Ore" This ore would be used to smelt into bars which in turn would be used to craft Hellstone Armor. an armor that is Slightly weaker than iron but allows you to be more resistant to fire damage then you normally would. Perhaps even a "Hellstone Sword" Which would have the ability of Fire aspect I without being enchanted. Once again to ensure this sword will not be over powered this tier would be weaker than Iron.
Dwarfs
For my next suggestion I would like to talk about a new NPC. This NPC is called a dwarf. The dwarf would live underground around Y-15 to 30 and be somewhat rare to find. he would live in a small dome shape underground room with a bed, furnace, a crafting table and anything else you could think of that is basic. Right clicking on the dwarf would bring up a trading screen where the dwarf would trade a number of things such as pickaxes, ores, and bars.
Poison
Another way besides enchanting to increase the damage of your weapons. Weapon poison would be created from a common plant found in jungle biomes and created in a brewing stand. From their you can apply your poison to your sword or arrows in a crafting table. The poison would only have a chance to trigger on targets in combat.
Frost Enchant
The "Frost Enchant" would be an enchant found on bows or swords. The enchant will have a 100% chance to slow the target when they are hit by the weapon that is enchanted with frost. Tier I of frost would apply "Slowness I" to the target and Frost II would apply "Slowness II" to the target.
Well that's pretty much all. Please leave feedback to me if any of you enjoy my suggestions, have any suggestions your self from my topic or anything else. Thanks for reading everybody and I believe these changes are possible to be added into the game. about 1 month before potatoes, and carrots were added I suggested them and now look at today. Their in the game.
It reminds RuneScape so much, with all the weapon poison and dwarves. And its a wishlist... U should make closely related items. Also, the dwarf is pretty shady. How many health it has? Can it attack?(with what damage?, accuracy? Attack rate?)
Also, netherstone armor protective value as you said is weaker than Iron but for this useful thing durability should be stronger than Iron.
And sword, it is shady too, how many base damage it does?

Curse PremiumAlso, a wish list. Please keep multiple items closely related.
