Hello, obviously phantom here unless someone is hacking my account, well, today or sometime soon, I want to bring the more arrows suggestion. Now we all know the common "Ooooh elemental arrows, lightning, fire, explosive, water, ooooooooooooooo!". Now I want to bring something different, quite a bit. Once I find out how to get the picture bigger without blurring it up, I'll upload some art for it.
If I say something like Flint:, that means that you use the recipe for whatever that stuff makes. Mostly arrows, if something else I will tell you.
Ok, so first IS a fire arrow, but it's kind of different since we already have the flame enchantment
Cluster Arrow: 3 Arrows, one shot. 1st row: Arrow Arrow Arrow 2nd row: Blank String Blank 3rd row: Blank Blank Blank Gives you 1 Cluster Arrow
Fires ONLY on full charge, and does not on any other, plus it gives the force of three arrows, if all three hit. A recipe with a regular arrow can use cluster arrows to get more quicker. It may be more efficient, but it costs string, but less resources for the original recipe. Your pick.
Burnt arrow:
Does 2 hearts LESS than normal arrows Flint: Still flint really Stick: Blaze Rod Feather: Blaze Powder Gives 4 Flame arrows
What's so special about this arrow? Well, it will make a small 3x3x3 square of mob spawner flame particles in the area where it hits, lighting mobs on fire (75% 50% chance). Why use this as well? Well, if you are in trouble, and you hit a creeper, it will not catch on fire. It will simply let him charge up. Dealing damage to him again will stop the charge. This is great for fighting a horde of mobs.
Void Arrow:
This one does absolutely no damage at all... but why make it then? You'll find out soon! Flint: Ender Pearl Stick: String Feather: Snowball Gives 4 Void Arrows
So, as said, why bother if it does no damage? Well, here's why. For this arrow, it does not teleport you. Instead, it teleports others in a distance. Here is an example, so there is a horde of mobs chasing you, but you want the somewhere else. Take your bow, and shoot at a place in a 10x10 block radius, like a circle, and it will teleport the mobs within the radius.
Edit: A better way to put it is that all mobs in a 10x10 circle radius will teleport to where the arrow lands.
Longshot Arrow:
Made for snipers, marksmen, and other long ranged users. 1st Row: Flint Arrow Flint 2nd Row: Blank Stick Blank 3rd Row: Feather EnderPearl Feather Gives 6 Longshot Arrows
Ok, so this arrow gives you many perks: Gives you 20% more speed when the arrow is fired. Does 1 1/2 Heart more damage dealt. But disadvantages as well: Will do no damage but will still fire if you do it from less than full charge, and takes 5% slower to load the bow.
Guided Arrow:
Soar through the air! 1st Row: Blank Iron Blank 2nd Row: Feather Stick Feather 3rd Row: Blank Compass Blank Gives you 8 Guided Arrows
The guided arrow is not like a guided missile, but more like it never stops traveling. It continues to keep going until it hits something. It does 1 heart more damage than a normal bow, 5% faster to load the bow, but can be 5% slower when in air.
Rapid Arrows:
KIND OF like old days. Flint: Gold Stick: Blaze Rod Feather: Sugar Gives 4 Rapid Arrows
A very good way to defend on close range attacks. The arrow can be loaded 30% faster, in air it goes 40% faster, but the catch is it does 2 hearts less. But since you load it so fast, it easily gets to full charge, but the 2 heart penalty is still there.
But what if I have different types of arrows at the same time?
I have 3 ideas for that
1. Hotkey for the arrows
2. Click K in your inventory on an arrow to select that type. Once it is depleted it will select random.
3. Have a little menu pop-out that shows the different arrows, and you scroll to select your arrows.
4. A quiver, but Jeb said he wouldn't so...
Well, that's all I have for now, I have the burnt arrow art, but it looks terrible when you make it bigger. I'd love it if you could tell me how to fix that, uploading it to imgur keeps it small :/. Anyways, there is a poll, be sure to vote, feel free to post your opinion and suggestions, I'll be sure to put in your name if you give a suggestion, and have a regular day.
Edit list:
1. Added edit list obviously
2. Added the selecting arrows idea
3. Nerfed the burnt arrow, now you have 4 arrows per recipe and a 50% chance
4. Added quiver
I don't really understand how the void arrows work, you might want to clean up your description. Also, the burn arrow is kind of pointless because of the flame enchantment. I don't support, but it's got promise. Good job.
Your guided arrow should be reworded. I had to use my imagination to figure out how it keeps going after landing.
Either way, if I'm right or wrong, you should reword it so it's easy to understand.
What I think you mean: (without imagination)
An arrow that when fired, will not stop for anything but a mob. It will either pass through or destroy any and all blocks in the way. (read 'something' as mob, oops.) land or a mob. It's compass will guide it to the nearest block or entity.
What I think you mean: (with imagination)
The arrow doesn't obey gravity. So if you fire it straight up, it won't stop, ever.

I never said it keeps going after landing.

I explained why the burnt arrow is different from the flame enchantment. It uses a range of a 3x3 square. And can blow up creepers from a distance.
I understand what you are trying to say, you are saying that the bow and arrow is pretty ever fully enchanted. but I do have to say that the arrow upgrade are pretty overpowered. the reason is because if a person is good enough he can get those resources for the arrows pretty easy, by making some farms to get the resources. here my idea, the only one I would actually use and is not overpower is the cluster arrow, rapid fire, longshot. so besides have arrow upgrades, you have new bow in enchantments. these have enchantment have some downside to them for example, the cluster takes four arrow per shot and take four times the durability and does less damage, rapid fire makes you charge your bow faster, longshot makes the arrow shot straighter to make more accurate shots. to get these enchantments you have to a level 30 enchantment. to make it not overpower is that certain enchantment can go with other in enchantments. longshot shot and cant go with rapid fire, flame, cluster arrow punch. cluster arrow cant go with rapid fire, flame, longshot. rapid fire cant go with long shot, cluster, flame, power. and all of them can go with unbreakable.

Hm. I tried to make some not so overpowered, as in the void one not doing any damage. I can see your point on the burnt arrow, as it may be really easy to farm them, so that's why I made the 75% chance. I might want to lower it to 50%, but it might still be good since it can work easily in hordes. As for the guided arrow, it's not that hard to dodge, while normal arrows may be, so that is a downside. Yeah, I'm creasing it to 50% chance.

no to void and burn arrows. the faster shoot arrows should need another kind of range weapon and no arrow change. same counts for the longrange arrows.
they should add potion arrows. crafted by placing a potion and an arrow in a crafting bench. it will deal the potion effect to what it hit. or tnt arrows that will blow up like a tnt will
I don't agree with the potion or tnt arrows. They are both over suggested, and the potion arrows are useless considering we have splash potions. The tnt thing has almost no use since it can be spammed and is OP. O also don't agree with the other ranged weapons- not the arrows. The reason I disagree is because you get to use a whole inventory space for one bow. If you get the arrows, they stack and you will have to use them wisely.

I think this is fairly unique actually. There are always lots of arrow suggestions but most of these I haven't seen before.
Also, could I make a recommendation that somehow the mysterious QUIVER is implemented with this (The quiver used to be in the item.png file similar to rubies but was never implemented ingame.)
Just a suggestion of course.
I never thought I would support one of these new weapon types of suggestions... but: Support.

Thank you and thank you to moriki for supporting. I thought about adding the quiver, but jeb said he would never add in a quiver. I would probably use that as my main idea, like if he decided he would, it would be like
[Burnt] [Void] [Guided] [Longshot]
That would mean it would go in the order burnt, void, guided, longshot. That would actually be my favorite. I'm going to add that into a possibility.
