I believe there should be a new raw materials in Minecraft. And the best idea should be as follows.
PLATINUM Z
And
NETHER X.
Yes it is platinum with a z and nether with an x
These two new raw materials are ore type rock used to make armor and weapons and tools.
PLATINUM Z: Is a VERY rare metal found In The deepest parts of minecraft. The natural form of the ore is rock sprinkled with white dots much like all the other ore, but the color is white and gives of a white particle affect like bedrock does. It could be stronger than diamond and much more rarer making it legendary. And shouldn't be available in creation. Using this material would produce a pure white sword or tool.
NETHER X: This ore can be found in the deepest parts of the nether and is pitch black and hard to find as well, this would have the same strength as the platinum ore but anything created with it will turn pitch black. This ore should be rare and shouldn't be in creation as well. The natural form of the ore should be pitch black as well so it should be noticeable in the Red Sea of nether rock.
These two ores should be pretty rare but not impossible to find, maybe a little more rare than diamond. Also the two different color ore will serve as a competitive incentive, (Black vs White) imagine having armor that is ouch black like evil demon or pure white like a king. The x and z are however placeholders for real names to call the ore but I think they sound cool.

Using x and z sounds stupid, if I wanted platinum I would rather just have platinum, not "platinum z".
And can you explain what the "deepest parts of the nether" is?
And lastly, "shouldn't be available in creation". I assume you mean creative. If they were added, why should they not be in creative?
