heat is feature for biomes, every biome has its heat, there are other heat modifiers (day and night, near fire, season) plants can grow in specific heats, so choose your home wisely. high heat has less rains low heat has more rains and very low heat has snow instead of rain. some biomes heat snow in all seasons, some biomes heat is nearly enough to snow, so it snows only with heat modifiers, some biomes heat never snows even with heat modifiers. water may turn into ice on low heat, and melts on high heat
biome heats from highest to lowest:
desert
oasis (found in desert, better place to live in)
savannah (hot plains with special tree "acacia")
tropics (a new jungle with new trees, very hot and rich with goods)
jungle
plains
cold plains (just colder, heat isn't enough to snow, but snows with winter heat modifier)
snow plains (always snowy, may stop snowing in summer)
taiga and tundra
glacier (an ice layer covered with 2 snow block layers, very cold..brrrrrr)
seasons
there are 4 seasons, every season has a heat modifier and extra features.
winter decreases heat greatly, which means more snow in biomes and more storms
autumn decreases heat and has its special feature of falling leaves, leaves get orange and red color and has falling leaves particles under it
summer increases heat greatly and its best for working because pf less storms
spring increase heat a little and has a special feature of growing more flowers and flowers appears on trees and vines
wetness
wetness is a feature like heat depends on biome and may be modified by specific modifiers (near water, rains, clouds) wetness is basely for new farming and its the base need for moss to grow on blocks.
when high heat meats water wetness coming from water increases, very high heat may make steam particles coming from water
plant features and new farming
every plant has a specific heat needs and other needs, including trees and vines
plants has quality which can be improved by giving the plant its best needs
vines : has a big heat range which allows it to survive in many biomes
spurce trees : needs cold heat, loses its leaves in very cold heat
wheat : needs hot places (not too hot) doesn't need too much wetness
jungle trees : need tropical heat, and high wetness
plants with low qualities has less drops and may die, low quality plants grow slower, to get best quality you'll need to grow plants in their specifc biomes and some of them doesn't get best quality except in their season.
winds
winds is a feature that's always happening, it has a direction and power, makes particles move with it and strong ones make entinities move!! dont sail with strong winds. winds direction and speed can be found by watching how fast clouds go and where does they go, it could be known by particles and some animations maybe.
//Dust\\
when winds move on sand it takes darker color and makes some particles. when dusty air passes over non sand block it gets dusty on the surface, and needs a broom to remove this effect
Rains and storms and weather features
weather features happen naturally and may increase their chance in specific heat.
1-weak rain, less water and lower noise
2-rain, like the current one
3-hard rain, strong rains that decrease sight
4-thunder storm. strong rains or normal rains with thunder, may come with winds
5-Fog, low clouds may happen when high heat meats water.
6-twister, happens when winds get too strong
7-water waves, who said water can't move? water blocks flow while in its place and move from place to another in high speed and may destroy some week blocks and ruin plants, happens when strong winds meat water
New items
broom : to clean dust
season clock : shows which season like the normal clock
fan : redstone item that create winds
fog machine : redstone item that needs water bucket in its inventory to make fog
wind detector : place it and it will direct its head to the direction of winds and shakes as strong as the winds strength
Banana : grows like the cacao on tropical palms , but naturally not placed by hand
pineapple : a new plant found in tropics
some new blocks for palms and tropical palms and stuff
Hey Icebreaker! Nice Ideas. Specially the seasons part that I always was looking for. I think this idea needs some edit to help Minecraft looks even better than it does now. For example some kind of glass roofs with glass walls can make a greenhouse for high humidity plants or tropical plants to grow, and also some means to generate wetness (humidity), in another biome; or even in icy biomes. For dry plants like wheat it is better to make a greenhouse without that humidity generator. The greenhouse also can protect plants from storms and high speed winds. Also that will be nice to have snow in winter and even shorter days/longer nights, and vice versa in summer.
Even wind power can change in each biome depending on biome kind like deserts and icy plains could have most powefull winds that can move certain blocks like wools, leaves, ...
Fog is also awsome, I like it.
Augh... Why is it so hard for people to just use the search button? No, seasons are a bad idea. The many biomes we have already give us our many climate types. Adding all that crap is just a waste of time and senseless headache programming.

I can't even read this suggestion enough to dislike it.
