Spear: (Yes, I Know lots of people have had this idea before, but it has differances)TheSpear is a Weapon that adds one block to the range of a player (if it can't be coded easily, then it could not do this), it can be made from any material and attacks at only 1/2 the rate of a sword (for every two attacks a sword can make, a spear can make one). Spear tip to make a spear tip, you put an ingot CobbleStone block or wooden plank in a crafting table with stone to the upper-right of it, it will become 3 spear tips of said material. To make a spear, you put a stick in the bottom row, and one in the middle row, then you put a spear tip on the top row, this will make a spear.
Right clicking will make the spear stick out strait, this can be used to keep short-ranged enemies away, but will not affect enemies at you sides, you also move and turn slower while doing this.(If any ideas get put into the game I would hope it would be this one.) Crafting:
0 = nothing. S = stick. T = Spear tip

Crafting: 0 = nothing. W = wooden planks, an ingot of some kind, CobbleStone, or diamond. S = stick.

It can be placed and picked up to move around, but cannot be used while being carried. Crafting: 0 = nothing. D = dispenser. F = Fence. M = Minecart.

0 M 0 Club A Club is a slow, but multi purpose tool, it is half as efficient as a sword and half as effiecient as a shovel, but better at doing damage then a shovel, and better for digging then a sword. Crafting: 0 = nothing. W = Wood or Cobblestone (not ores or anything else).

0 W 0 Double swords Double swords are two swords wielded simeltaniously, they do twice as much damage as a normal sword of their type and have twice as much durability. Crafting: 0 = nothing. W = Wood. S = Stick

Bit of advice for you, kid... The search bar is your best friend. For example, every single one of these (with the possible exception of the Cleaver) has been suggested before at least once, in some cases at least twice.

Unoriginal. And ahem, the sword can be swung INFINETELY fast. Half of infinity is still infinity. The reason it can't kill anything instantly is the red knockback damage-immunity time.
Totally misleading title as this is about weapons not tools at all.
Too much stuff totally derailing from how other MC weapons are currently designed.
Like for instance how this post presents weapons with damage multipliers while the already existing weapons and tools only use a linear progression (+1 damage by weapon quality step) effectively making the cleaver extremely overpowered.
Also, an already oversuggested thread.
Fact is, Minecrat combat system and limited weapons design philosophy (all weapons attack the same way, at the same speed opponent's armor or position or timing or other environmental variations also do not affect result, and only difference is a linear damage variance) essentially means that there is not really any need or room for more than a small handful of attack items, which Minecraft already covers.
We don't need so many weapons, and most of these have been suggested before. How about you focus on one and flesh the idea out as much as possible. That would be better.

Why do we need more weapons? I think just having the sword and the bow is enough.
