Some know that the end is endless (No pun intended) or forever going, but the ender island doesn't part with with the ender world instead it is a limited island, limited resources in the end. What I am suggesting is that there shall be more ender islands all through out the endless world perhaps the main island you spawn in is the largest and the foreign islands are smaller. I know the end is a boss battle realm, but it is too limited I believe that the end's terrain should last forever just like the world.

There are threads specifically for making the battle better and for after the battle better, use those. Though I admit, I can't find them, (and it's annoying the hell out of me) so I'm not going to report (I only report for redundancy on threads I can easily find with search).

I'm pretty sure we've argued over this before, so I'm just saying this. Just because that's what it currently is doesn't mean it can't be anything more.
It would be somewhat pointless, and here is some reasons why: 1) The End only contains 4 things; A dragon, endermen, endstone, and some obsidian pillars. Currently, the main reason to go there in the first place is to kill the dragon for exp and take its egg, nothing else (unless you want to get some ender pearls or enjoy the color of endstone.) Perhaps if more mobs items and blocks were implemented, then it would be worth being infinite.
You're treating the End like it's only worth what you can get from it. Since the boss fight is all that matters, why not replace the End with an adminium box with endermen, obsidian, and a boss fight? Or, let's make the End just despawn after you've killed the dragon. Its purpose has been fulfilled, so there's no need to keep it.
2) Also, a bug exists with the ender dragon, its easy for him to get onto unloaded chunks. While there, he doesn't move and stay there until the player reaches that area. With the current End, it is easy to find where he is. But make it an infinite world he could be stuck more frequently, requiring a player to chase him non-stop until he finally decides to turn around. Also the player could easily lose his location, and end up taking several minutes looking for the dragon. Worst part is, he won't be able to leave until he defeats it.
3) Endless End = endless Crystals. It's already bad when the Dragon is low on health, goes into an unloaded chunk, then when you get there heals due because there was a crystal there. So you destroy that crystal then no more crystals means you can kill the Ender dragon But if you have an endless end. That means you would have to be able to stay in one area to fight the dragon, which you can't (see #2). Crystals would be endless as well.
These are indeed problems; I have already dealt with them while modding. First, End portals no longer despawn when placed by anything other than the dragon. This allows players to build End portals to leave without killing the dragon if they lose track of it in an unloaded chunk. Second, a new material (in my case, skystone) that generates will allow the player to craft End portal frames, and (I haven't done this yet) another material can serve as a substitute for blaze powder in the recipe for eyes of ender. Third, the dragon is nerfed so that it can be killed without destroying an infinite number of crystals. That, or obsidian towers increase in rarity, so that the number of crystals that can be destroyed during a boss fight is reasonably low.
125% support. (100% for the idea, 25% because I had the same idea and made a mod. It hasn't been updated since 1.4.6.)
