OK, so adventure mode is mainly meant for adventure maps right, well i have a new idea for when it isn't, so the player would collect the things that it can break at the start ( ferns, cocoa beans...ect ) or other things if it has bonus chest enabled. when you collects things you would then go to this new thing called a kingdom basically an extremely large scale and more complex village. The kingdom would include the same buildings as a village but would include a large castle in the middle ( will be further explained in a minute ), and at the shop, you would trade the items you have for money ( or if you don't like that it could just be xp ) , example:
one diamond for 200 coins/xp. once you have the money you would use your money to buy things like pickaxes, swords, food, ect... The castles wold be a larger building made mostly of cobblestone and iron blocks, the castle would sometimes include a hidden chest with items simalar to those in a dungeon in it. So... this is Adventure Mode, instead with the ability to break more stuff and have these really unnecessary kingdoms thrown in the game for just this one gamemode? That doesn't qualify to be a brand new gamemode for vanilla Minecraft. And kingdoms are gonna overspoil the player as villages alone offer a ton. No support.
I hate to rub salt, sulfiric acid and bacon grease in the wound here, but why do you have that temperature bar idea in your signature? That was a highly unfavored idea and you were happy for the thread to die.

Survival, Creative and Adventure modes are all original and unique compared to each other. Your idea is basically Adventure Mode 2 with some pointless things shoveled in for the sake of being there. What Zippy said, we don't need those oversuggested kingdoms that give players too much. You're throwing in "money" when there are Emeralds. Minecraft doesn't have to be The Ender Scrolls.
