This would use the old end portal frame texture and will give you an achiviement like this:
It drops the special "Clear Diamond". It looks like this:
The block is about as rare as diamond, but can only be found in taiga, ice plains, icy lakes, and icy rivers at about 6-12 blocks. It is much like diamond in this way.
It can be turned into a regular diamond by cooking it in a furnace.
It is mined with an iron pick.
It can be turned into an item called "The mystic's smith". It has an interface like a crafting table. You put a "Clear Diamond" into the Mystic Smith to get "Mystical Dust". This is used to create "Mystical Redstone", "Mystical Iron", "Mystical Gold", and "Mystical Coal". Mystical Redstone does not connect with normal redstone and can be used in place of Redstone in recipes. Same thing with all of the others but Coal. The coal burns 16 blocks instead of 8 in a furnace. It can be used to make "Mystical Torches". They shine 2x brighter than regular torches. Mystical Ores can be used to make tools with the enchantments Efficency I,and Unbreaking I. Adding a diamond to Mystical Dust, you will get a clear diamond.
You can craft Ender Crystals. It is made like this
= Clear Diamond
BackStory:
The Ender Dragon was weak. It needed to heal up. The ender dragon stole the crystals using his enderman slaves. Some tried to rebel and gave him what they called "Fools Crystal" that was a diamond tainted to be clear. The enderman used ender pearls to disguise the ore for it as a portal crystal. The one problem was that it was not unbreakable. It was as weak as diamond.
I hate this topic! Exactly no support
I suggest you can mine it with a diamond pick.
Plus the material should be crystal that is extra ultra super extremely strong than diamond
Unless you tell us some nice info, like if it's better then dimond, a decoration like lapis, what pick it needs (if any), the y cord, how rare, and a bunch of other stuff, no one will support this.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I won't MIND being denied, but I won't be like 'whatever', so go ahead and say the truth to me. =D May/may not have a reaction.
Oh look, Dragons! =D
What Y is it found in?
Do you need any special tool to mine it in?
Does it make anything?
How rare is it?
How many would it drop when mined with Fortune III and a clean diamond pickaxe?
How long does it take?
NO support.
It says how rare it is(like diamond), Does it make anything?(Look at the "Mystic Smith" part), Y is 6-12, adding the other things.
The crystal looking exactly like diamonds but with more gray color is uncreative and lazy. If Mojang were to add some sort of new gem, they would give us a new looking item and not a very cheap recolor. I also don't think there ever exist something that involved "cooking" diamonds... That's very random.
You also tell us it can be used to make all this "mystical" stuff (which is a little... cheesy), and you only explained new torches and new coal. Not so much the other stuff.

Sorry about that, I added a backstory to show you what it is meant to be. It is a magicly tainted diamond.
It's a nice idea, but it does a bit... much. It's as rare as Diamond, appears in 2 biomes and 2 subbiomes, and it does a ton. Plus, if you search within a large enough area, you can find plenty of Diamond. It's not as rare as some say it is if you dig in specific ways. Just takes time to find.
Anyways, I don't like the idea of Mythical Iron or Mythical Gold. I do, however, like Mythical Redstone and Mythical Coal. However, x2 brighter than torches is almost x2 brighter than glowstone. A glowstone block emits light at a level of 15. A torch at 14. Also, the maximum is 15 at the moment, meaning for a light level of 28, the light system would need to be rewritten again. I like the idea of Mythical Redstone, acting as "bluestone", which is what most suggestions call it.
Now, we have enough tool & armor sets. We could bump up the rarity with Mythical Iron and Mythical Gold not being a thing, since I'd assume it's used for tools and armor.
Finally, the Ender Crystals. What's really the point? They're just so fragile. They could be used for decoration, but even then, they're an entity; not a block. The Ender Crystal item would function as a spawn egg, I guess?
Overall, it's a good suggestion. It just could use some work. Also, the Y should be 0 to 16 to match Diamond. I'm glad I may or may not have a reason to go to snow biomes.

Yes but the ender crystal would be used for enderman traps, very useful for going to the end or a teleporting joyride.

I think you completely missed the point of what I was saying. I wasn't talking about any kind of "backstory", I was talking about what your new "mystical" items do. You told us about the "mystical torch" and "mystical coal", you never mentioned what the "mystical" variations of redstone, iron and gold do.
I advise that you maybe drop the backstory. Things in Minecraft don't have backstories, they're just there. And the story you gave is very generic and not very fitting for the game.

Man you must have been thinking at im thinking some new ore that would fit into the game im not just a minecraft player im also a terrina player and if you play both of those games you might think that theres not enough ores in minecraft. anyways half support i see what your trying to show use just you need more detall.
At least this person didn't just say, "There is a new crystal ore that you can turn into crystal tools and crystal armor." just like everyone else does. I support this. With a few tweaks to make it less complicated I can see this fitting into Minecraft.
