I think they should make apple trees separate from regular trees. They should actually have red apples in the tree that you can see. They should be uncommon (1 in 500)(Apple tree to Oak Tree, but should be the only way to get apples. They gives apples 50 percent of the time you break the leaves (the apple falls from leaves and becomes grab able item when it hits the ground)The wood should be called Apple Wood and should have its own planks and other exact tree items. Also, it should be grown by placing apple saplings.
I actually think this is a great idea for two reasons. Apples are pretty common and ordinarily especially when one is a high level and uses pork and steak as main food source (ultimately healing potion). Playing Minecraft now I find apples completely useless unless I've ran out of everything to eat and apples are my last reserve. So that brings me to my point. I think it would give the game more variety, and actually make it more engaging to find apples from apple trees. Second, there would be more wood planks and another type of sapling which could usher in a new biome to expand the game's diversity.
No support.
Not enough detail, and there's already apples in trees. I'd like to keep it a surprise.
You're why God invented abortion bro. Oak trees currently drop apples randomly. Oak trees do not drop apples in real life, apple trees do. The way apples are implemented in the game currently is tacky as hell. Apple trees aren't just a good idea, they should be on the to-do-list when they start adding new trees. This has my support.
That kind of insulting language is quite unnecessary please.
Oak trees do not drop apples in real life, apple trees do.
And just how exactly is this a valid argument? Because, by that "in real life" logic, then, Minecraft should be changed so that:
- Water shouldn't be "infinite";
- Blocks can't stay floating in mid-air without any kind of support;
- Torches don't burn foreverl
- etc., etc. etc.!
Trying to apply realism to Minecraft, as an *argument* on how something *should or should not* be done, is an exercise in futility.
No support. Apples should be a rare find, not something you can just grow to make a giant farm and infinite apples. Apples currently actually give meaning to Apple Farms which shold require hundreds of trees, not just a few measly apple trees which simplifies things too much.
Also, we do not need your remarks about abortion and religions.
Saying that will not actually stop any fighting going on in a thread.
As for the idea, I'm gonna say no. Apples can be turned into extremely valuable item. Not as just two types of golden apples, but as something to cure a zombie villager therefore being an item that can technically make new villagers (even with structures turned off).

Don't even attempt to start an argument with me. And don't ever, ever insult me like that, again.
