Maintaining you hunger bar has been a huge part of minecraft for a long time. Im getting really tired of hearing my bones break while Im starving. Please implement a stomach groaning noise or some other starvation sound effect so we dont think we are being attacked when we start starving.
Why should Mojang bother? Who would actually MISS the fact that they're STARVING TO DEATH?
I tend to notice my hunger bar having a seizure, and then get food. If I somehow can't get my hands on food, then I'll expect starvation, and not think I'm coming under attack when I start starving.

Pointless, no support.
Well, unlike you, some people are flawed. (please don't take that as an insult.)
I often don't look at my hunger bar, and hear the hitting sound effect. I have a mini-heart attack, looking around, thinking: "HOLY MOTHER OF F*** WHAT IS HURTING MEEE" Then I notice my hunger bar and I feel like an idiot. I think this would be a nice addition, like how they changed the "Oof!" to "CRUNCH" before in minecraft. So.... Support! +1

Okay, yeah, I'll admit, maybe my post was a bit sarcastic and such. My apologies.
But seriously, though, the hunger bar DOES spasm around a lot when it gets low. Maybe the main reason I don't have this problem is because I'm OCD about keeping it up.
And for the record, SuperEvan200, I think bats were a dumb addition too.

Of course. XD
but I think they should make bats at least have a drop... When they first came out, I kept trying to build at night, and... BATBATBATBATBATBAT *kills bat* no bat wings? >:C

They should have a drop which can be brewed into a mini flight potion? Or at least a jump boost potion.

Hey, dude, this topic is about hunger, not bats. Make yout own thread about that. I support the hunger thingy, though. *Argh!* *Argh!* *Argh!* *Argh!* *Argh!* and so on.
This seems pretty cool. The crunch sound seems more like you're randomly picking rocks off the ground to eat and it's not working so you get hurt instead If they had a groaning noise coupled with some sort of effect (other than no regen health and sprinting) such as slowness, it would be way more noticeable. Support, and for you people saying this is pointless because it doesn't do anything: Bats, different cat species, lapis, quartz, pretty much every decorative block, and background music are all "useless", but they're still great.

When will Minecraft stop updating? When pigs fly over the frozen plains of hell, twice in a blue moon, while Taylor Swift sings a song called, "Maybe I'm the Problem".

I scored 100% on the Minecraft Trivia Quiz. How much do you know about Minecraft?
TOPICS I MAKE, Y U NO STAY ALIVE?
Why where bats added again? For atmosphere! Does that change anything concerning actual game play? No.
Bones breaking when starving is awfully silly. +1, support.
