IDEA: You know about Sprinting. The double tap button that lets us go faster. It destroys our hunger, but only on the course of 3 minutes(I think?). I say there be something that affects you when you sprint. So i think FATIGUE. Say theres a new bar over your health. Green dots maybe? These dots go down when you sprint. they fully deplete in exactly 1 minute. when depleted, you will get a slow I-II debuff for 5 seconds and 5 seconds only. after 5 seconds, the green dots(fatigue) will be completely recharged.
PROBLEMS: It's not neccesary! Now that problem is based on opinion. Thats what comments are for. Over/underpowered! Now bear with me, i tryed to make this as balanced as i could think it could be. again, feedbacks with help is ENCOURAGED.
You're right it isn't really necessary and that is just an opinion. But that's all I really need to not like it. It would be a minor change that wouldn't really affect anyone, and if it did it would only affect them for 6 seconds. 5 for the slowness debuff and then another second to start sprinting again.
Seeing how very few people are sprinting for minutes at a time, and even less people are able to do it without accidentally bumping into something when trying to jump up a block or go through trees, and because the suggested change is a minor irritation at absolute best, I'm saying no support from me. If this fatigue bar did more than just this, it would get a tentative maybe.

Yeah...
They tried this with my favorite game franchise of all time... of all time. And people wanted to burn them for it.
No fatigue, please. It was a trivial mechanic in Skyward Sword, and it's a trivial mechanic in Minecraft.
I'll put it bluntly: NO, HECK NO, AND MOST CERTAINLY NEVER! Before you think I am just hating, please read below.
There have been times in Minecraft when it is nightime and there are mobs all around, where sprinting is my only way out. Mostly it happens when my sword breaks. That slowness buff would allow all manner of mobs to kill you. Besides, in the real world, you just get tired after running, you slow down from a sprint to a jog/ run. Besides, I don't see the need to change it. I know it doesn't seem realistic, being able to sprint for that long, but you can hold your breath underwater for an almost impossible amount of time, if you converted Minecraft time to real world time.
To me, the downside of sprinting is already in the game, from the loss of hunger it can be a nuisince. mabye adding a visible bar wouldn't be too bad, but I wouldn't change anything else besides that. So, sorry, but no support from me.
