So some of us like to keep things compact and just have a 1x2 corridor filled with a track running along it in our underground tracks. But torches can be a bit of a problem at times, they don't look too good in a 1x2 corridor and to me, it's not worth the effort to carve out more rock to have the corridor visually appealing.
So what if there was a recipe where you place tracks in a crafting table and place redstone and glowstone (or glowstone dust) beneath? The tracks would glow yellow, and would be powered by redstone (or not, considering there is redstone within). But this could save coal for other uses and not having to go place torches everywhere in the corridor and still have it visually appealing.
Your thoughts on this?
*edit*
I see a lot of people saying place torches, glowstone blocks, etc. but I see this as for those who don't want to waste resources on torches or taking the time to dig out a spot for glowstone blocks.
I would love to have this in game for aesthetics! (And I might provide a concept art to get people to see how it could look like. Might do it on Thursday, as our classes officially end this week)

Wait, can you? Glowstone is transparent, and tracks need an opaque block, unless it's like Redstone on glowstone.
Oh yeah... I forgot about the lighting thing... But doesnt it look good as a glow-in-the-dark?
