I think would be nice if the player could eat food that restores less hunger faster than eating food that restores more hunger. I think the amount of time it takes to eat the food should depend on how many hearts of hunger the food replenishes. I mean, does it really take as long to finish off a cookie as to eat a bowl of stew?
Support would be appreciated, and I'd love to hear everyone's opinion on this.
but getting cocoa beans is harder than getting mushroom.. i could make some stacks of cocoa beans in fifteen minute by farming.. but mushroom is quite hard since you need a dark farm and it will spawn some zombies..

Umm... Yeah, a mushroom farm may spawn zombies. Mind telling me what your point is?
mushroom is harder to get than cocoa.. therefore restores more.. but after eating tons of melon slice in my minecraft life i kinda missed no animation at all in beta..
