So, these are my list of ideas:
1. A water bar. When you're in the water, you have an air bar, and when you're on land, instead of the air bar there is a water bar, in the shape of water drops. What this does is that when you sprint, you lose some of it. You lose half a water bar every 1 minute whenever you sprint, and when you're in a desert, you automatically lose half a water bar every 20 seconds. When you only have 1 water bar left, then you cannot sprint, while you have the nausea potion effect for 10 seconds. In the nether, you lose half a water bar every 10 seconds. In order to refill water bars, take a dip in water blocks or drink something(etc. a bottle of water, milk, a potion). A bottle of water refills 5 water bars, potions refill 4 and milk refills 7. There are 10 water bars overall. If you have a potion of fire resistance, then that prevents you from running out of water bars in the desert and the nether(Because you're resistant to heat, although you will still lose water bars after sprinting). There is also a command called /gamerule waterbar false, and when you type in that, you do not run out of stamina(water bars).
IMPORTANT: This feature will only work when you're in hard mode.
2. New commands:
-/gamerule hunger false (makes you not run out of hunger even in easy, normal or hard)
-/spawnentity (entity name)
-/spawnentity (mob);helmet;chestplate;leggings;boots (Spawns a mob with armor, you could use this to make different types of mobs, like a skeleton with leather armor)
3. Making an aqua efficiency potion effect(So there would be the potion effect and the enchantment)
4. Nether staff
When the wither came out, I was really disappointed, because after fighting a giant beast that just massacred your entire world, you get a nether star. To activate it, you need at least 3 obsidian to make a beacon, then you need a ton of emerald. And when you finally build it, you just get a permanent potion effect when you get near it. Big deal. So, along with beacons, I thought nether stars should have another purpose. So, think of an iron shovel crafting recipe, only that the sticks are blaze rods and the iron ingot is a nether star. And then, you get a nether staff. The nether staff doesn't have a durability bar, so it has infinite uses, and it shoots the wither skull projectiles. You could also charge shoot. The negative side here is that whenever you shoot it, you run out of half an xp bar, so shooting it only twice costs you one entire xp bar. When you charge shoot it, you run out of 2 xp bars.
Though I would love to see this in regular survival, the addition of the thirst bar will cause many people to become angry, as that's another bar they need to watch and monitor. Remember when hunger came out? That caused a lot of commotion, and some people still argue about it to this day.
Not sure about the Nether Staff though...
