The problem is, that for some people (like me) who have a 100,000,000,000,000.1 worlds and servers its very hard to find them.
The solution would be to add a filter system. For example, I had 4 worlds with cheats, 3 with bonus chests and 1 hardcore world i could click a button on the world menu. It would have: Cheats, No Cheats, Survival etc.
This way we could be able to find our single player worlds easyily.
For Multiplayer it would be harder. Instead of Mojang having to recode servers to show plugins, gamemode etc, you could put your servers into a "folder"
For example i had 2 pvp servers and 5 creative ones i could make 2 seperate folders. You can name them whatever you want. So my PvP servers can go into a folder i named "PvP lul" and my creative ones into a folder i named "Creative, whatcha going to do bout it?"

Well fair enough, I don't really see myself needing that, but I guess someone doesn't delete everything when they are done I only have 1 server, 1 testworld and 1survival world
It should be this way. For anyone who plays on mcsg.in like me, knows that you have to have all 40 servers at the top of your list or you don't get in to them. This is very annoying because it means all the rest of my servers have to be at the bottom, beneath all of the mcsg servers.
I like this idea... if you had different worlds/servers than it could be very handy if you had a way of sorting them. I like your idea about how to sort single player worlds. Perhaps you could add a "tag" like for example the tag pvp so every server with this tag would get sorted together.
Good idea. This is what im trying to get at! It's very hard to organise you worlds a the moment

I know exactly what you mean. I've got servers that i only go on once a year at the top and servers thst i go on regurlarly at the very bottom. Takes me 3 hours to get to the CTF i like
