they appear in the sky and at only one end of the rainbow there is a chest with up to 17 gold nuggets in it! and or 13 ingots and or 2-blocks of gold,
well this is pretty much it.. no special mobs like a leprechaun,
it dissapears after ten-minutes also it randomly generates there can be multiple rainbows but they would spawn very far from eachother,
it only spawns one-minute after it rains,
also the rainbow would be two-blocks tall, and the colors of it would be red blue yellow purple and orange,
it is transparent, and can be walked through like paintings, the rainbow floats one block off the ground, and the chest is placed in that one block the rainbow isnt, it is still like a block it isnt sloped, and it cannot be collected,
the rainbow dissapears if you take anything from the chest
here is a list of biomes the rainbow spawns in, plains, extreme-hills, river, beach, and thats it,
well thats it for this idea, please tell me what you think about this idea but please dont be a hater
yes this topic isnt very long but this is a simple idea, also this idea is for vanilla
More detail, please. Does the rainbow disappear? What about the chest? How big is it? Does it spawn in a certain location, or randomly, by a timer? In the latter case, "as rare as a mushroom biome" is irrelevant.
It sounds like an Easter egg. Maybe if one obvious one spawned once in every world just on St. Patrick's day...
No support until you give more detail.
Also, a tip: People tend to take your suggestions more seriously if you use proper grammar.

Maybe if the spawned after a Thunderstorm, or had a chance of spawning after a normal storm, and I would say a bit more then 17 nuggets, maybe a random amount of ingots and blocks and nuggets mixed (Blocks being more rare, nuggets being in larger stacks and more common) and it would disappear after a few minutes.
The idea sounds a little strange, and it's almost not worth adding if it has mushroom biome rarity. I'd consider the "end of a rainbow" as finding diamond ore.

well if there was diamond ore at the end of a rainbow it would take away the rarity of diamond ore, +would it make sense to find diamonds at the end of a rainbow??

Don't advertise in other people's suggestions.

Curse PremiumAnyway, silly idea. Are rainbows blocks or merely graphical. How do they spawn? How often do they spawn? How does the chest spawn?
Exactly. We need detail, detail, detail.

well why not just say 'why is gold in minecraft?' gold is pointless but it looks good for decor
how is this confusing?
