I have been reading and analizing many dicussions about the 1.6 update.
Many suggest seasons, biomes, potions, etc.
My personal thoughts were that a boat with a chest/ furnace/ extra room for multiple
players would be a great Idea. I don't think new biomes need much attention
quite as much as terrain diversity.
Another aspect that I haven't seen much talk on but
my friends have been talking over are new armor items. We were thinking how it would
be cool for belts, gloves, and possibly another slot for shields (shields only).
Before you write a comment about making the player over powered (op),
I would like to say something. While reading conversations I noticed many said
complained that mobs were becoming "to easy."
This would be a double edged sword making mobs have higher damage rates, along
with new armor
Many people were also suggesting a sunken ship/ ship wreck. When I first heard this
I almost emmidately thought of an under water stronghold type place. As a stereotype pirates
are thought of carrying around treasure and valuables in large chests. Also other objects they could put
into chests ( corsponding to location [ship wreck, abandoned mineshafts, and strong holds])
For example, in an abandoned in chests there would be an ocatioanal pick axe or a minecart to simulate miners
miners inhabiting the mine.In a stronghold there maybe armor, swords, golden apples, to simulate past failures of warriors. And finally in a ship there would be potions to simulate liqueur, and rare ores ( including emeralds [ they simulate money]).
On this note many people are talking about an " Ocean update." Well I'm not saying I am the first to suggest this, but I haven't seen anyone else say it; I think to make it seem more possible for past ship wrecks to happen, I think they should input a stationary ship with pirates ( villagers) to simulate a crew. The ship design should be almost identical to that of a wrecked one (chest included). This would make many people who think an ocean upgrade would be redundant to at least have a reasonable reason to have one.
Again on armor I think they should input chain mail into the game as a craftable object via iron ingots. I think chain armor looks cool and judging by the mod more "cost" effective than iron ( in the mod you get 4 chain links per an iron ingot [ meaning you could make a full set of chain armor with just 6 iron ingots]).
Now to potions, some people suggest a helmet but for strictly breathing under water ( glass in a form of a helmet),and others say just get respiration or aqua affinity ( which we all know is easier said than done), while others are thinking of a potion for breathing under water. I totally agree with the last one but think about it. Would it make sence if they just released 1 potion instead of multiple?
And another thing regarding armor( and tools), emeralds. These little gems are used mainly for trade and other than that you just say you have them. If you think about almost every block/drop has at least 2 uses, not the emerald. Given this would it not make sence if we could craft tools and armor out of these gems that are more rare than diamond? This would also make extreme hills biomes more desirable, would it not?
Another idea was a boat capable of being equipped with a chest, furnace or extra sitting room for multiplayer( as previously stated). My guess would be it would be just like a minecart with chest and furnace, but if they did multiple seats wouldn't it make sence to do the same with minecarts as well?
These are just things I'm thinking of and so are many others. Please excuse typos and I would appreciate your thoughts in the comments section!
It's not a wish list it's things that could be added in future updates (updateS). And I do know that these will not be added all at once that would be impossible to code all at once.

Don't get your hopes up. You say that like it's going to be added. It probably won't, and a wishlist is a suggestion with multiple unrelated ideas

Isn't it weird thatpalindrome is emordnilap backwards?
