There are only four things certain since Social Progress began.
That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her Mire,
And the burnt Fool's bandaged finger goes wabbling back to the Fire;
And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins,
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,

You can't rush quality.
Actually, I already found out what I needed to know, I've just been working on putting it into good words, and I've been busy with christmas stuff, so it's taking a little bit.
Edit: Exactly 2000 voters in the poll, woo.
Don't worry, at first, all this suggestion will do is add cubic chunks, nothing more, nothing less. The possibilities that come after are up to Mojang, but I am sure they know that there are people who, like you, do like the restrictions put in place. Whether they make a new world-type or something else is up to them; All that is mentioned here simply describes the possibilities.
I'd like to be able to get deeper worlds though (deeper from surface to bedrock), which is just what I did by modding the code (I can even triple ground depth; 1.6 terrain only takes up 128 blocks, so I can add up to 128 to the average ground level of 64, although some trees can exceed 128, so perhaps 100 as a max), although I can see some people getting annoyed that they need to dig down over 100 blocks to find diamonds, or not having as much room to build above ground.
Note also that the changes I did requires modifying many other things to account for the change in ground level; for example, slime spawning in swamps is set to a narrow range around sea level (51-69), which had to be adjusted 64 blocks upwards (for comparison, I doubled the slime chunk range). Many of these changes can be avoided by setting sea level to a fixed value like 0, with negative numbers being below and positive above, although you'd probably want to change ore distribution with ground depth (e.g. I doubled the range of iron ore so it can be found to sea level like normal, also doubling veins/chunk to keep the density the same).
TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
This would effectively reduce the need to cave to improve the efficiency of mob farms !
However, Systems would then have to take the vertical height into account now to keep parts from becoming unloaded and non functional.
He just doesn't get it
"now I can't wait for the dropper 3, mwahahahaha!"
You're right, and I realized that before but forgot about it (which resulted in my change of mind). It'll still be not so useful in single player, but single player itself is really lame, and I never play it.
So I'm back on the "yes" side.
I would like comments (good or bad) to help me adjust my ideas so that hopefully some one will help me bring them to life.

So, did you even read the FAQ at all? Or even just the bright red words?
The entire point of this is to reduce lag. Infinite height is just a really good side effect. Does Minecraft lag because it has (almost) infinite worlds? No, it does not, because of the chunk system. Now imagine the chunk system working horizontally and vertically, creating just as much height as width and depth. That is what Cubic Chunks does.

What you mean is the 30,000,000 mark limit? That can not be solved without changing minecraft completely(Correct me if I am wrong here.) and it is not a problem. It is not possible to legitimately get this far without hacks or some sort of cheat. The lag you face there is not an issue either as stated before due to the fact you will never see it. Even so this does not mean the height should be limited if it doesn't have to just to make things easier. Also that fact that someone may be "def" as you so kindly put it does not make one unable to understand you.
The same way there's infinite horizontal build distance. Its not truly infinite, it ends at 30,000,000m or so away from 0,0, but its effectively infinite.
Putting the CENDENT back in transcendent!
Any worlds with a void after using cubic chunks will still kill the player upon entering and will be at the same place I believe. Even then there is no legitimate way to get to the void so you are probably in creative if you do.
