Gasp?
No, it's not our ultimate goal...but it is a very integral step in it. Just wait and see.
Obviously a she, no one else could be such a tease.

Curse PremiumSo here is my situation. I started a tekkit classic server a while ago and just hit the height ceiling the other day with a tower I was making.
So naturally I would like to fix this and finish the tower that I currently have chopped in half in my world. I began looking around for a mod to do this or if it was possible to change the settings but I couldn't find any mods for minecraft version 1.2.5 (the latest version supported by tekkit classic).
I have been interested in modding for quite a while but haven't actually learned how to do it yet and thought now would be as good a time as any. So to get to my point, I would love to be able to add cubic chunks to the tekkit pack. I know this probably means a great deal of recoding and patching things together so that all the mods in tekkit classic play nice together. And I would love to be able to help the cubic chunks cause if possible.
I do know java, I don't know if its really enough, but I do program with it and I would love to learn more. So if anyone could give me some pointers on where to start I would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.
Your sense of style is pathetic , I always look to java programers for style , because where ever they are , they always have .class.

Curse PremiumI think that was discussed in this Thread already, and your "Idea" is just about the exact same thing as the result of that discussion.
Except that its "Byte-Arrays", not images.
Dont get me wrong, Images in a Computer are Arrays too, basically.

There's already a mod in the works.
This is a suggestion for vanilla Minecraft. The mod is just for demonstration purposes.
Also, goodbye exactly 500 posts.
also you should check out Tall Worlds
If this mod makes it into vanilla i would gladly devote my current modding time to making the first deep ores mod for CC. Ive got a couple things id also like to add, but if it gets added, im definetly pioneering the new modding field.
Well it is already very easy to get lost. Imagine going caving in a world with no bottom, especially starting from scratch. You'd never see the surface again. Sounds like fun
