I am full of new ideas for MinecraftPC. One of my most recent ideas was something that would go in the "Food" category. Hot Chocolate and Coffee. To make the Coffee and Hot Chocolate, you must first make a mug. You can make a mug by doing this formula in the crafting table-->X=Stone O=Nothing OOO XOX OXO
A mug is re-usable and does not stack up. The next step is to fill the mug with water. You can only fill it at a cauldron. Next, you go to a brewing stand. You put the Mug of water in the potion slot, and cocoa beans/coffee beans (if coffee beans were in the game) in the ingrediant slot. It will boil down, and once it is done, it makes hot chocolate/coffee. When you drink the beverage, you gain 3.5 hunger slots. The Coffee also gives a temporary speed boost, but with the added effect of a crash. The speed is equal to the Speed potion, but for 30 seconds. The crash is equal to a Slowness potion, that lasts 19 seconds. Then, the empty mug returns to your hand. Although the drinks are hard to make, (as in brewing stand and cauldron,) the coffee beans/cocoa beans are easy to obtain. I am really hoping that someone thinks that this is a good idea! Please give me your feedback and check out my other awesome Minecraft PC ideas! Happy Minecrafting!
No, we have plenty of food as is. If you're full of ideas, you might want to check some of them over. You should also have a title relating to the topic, instead of just New Idea.

Pointing out fallacies to undermine an argument is also a fallacy...

I disagree on the number of food options we have. I would not call it 'plenty.' But I agree with every thing else.
Now then for the suggestion it self:
No to the mugs only filling at cauldrons because it is a pointless restriction andas far as the game is concerned water is water no matter where it is.
No to the brewing stand. Those are for potions. End of story. Just put the cup of water in the crafting table with the 'beans' to get a cold drink and then pop it into the furnace to heat it up.
No to the potion effects. potions should only have one source for the effect they give. And forcing the player to 'crash' after drinking something that restores hunger would just make people not use it. The speed effect isn't worth the slowness after.
Drinks I like. This implementation of them I don't.
On a side note. The title of a video game should be italicized. Not underlined. But really you don't need to do either here. This isn't a formal setting where such rules need to be upheld.

Humanity is the creation of Logic and Emotion, Calculation and Imagination, Cold Analysis and Blind Faith. This is why I believe it is a strange Human that would prize one while shunning the other. For a calculator can do math just as well as you, but a calculator can not use math to make the world a better place.

Ew, why not?
Well neither do water bottles. But people still think thirst is a brillent idea.
