Hello Minecrafters, today i have a new mob to introduce...yes yes i know it will a lot of coding but it will be pretty cool in my opinion. So they are called bears. Now bears aren't your normal mobs,oh no bears try to get you if there is no meaty mobs( cows and pigs) around him.He lives in caves above layer 50.He is normally a neutral mob if there are meaty mobs around. if u have any suggestions PLEASE leave a comment. if u think it is a good idea then support please thanks!
Health? Damage? Size? Drops? Behavior once agro'd?
oh sorry well like 15 hearts i guess. im not too sure as for drops it drops a new item, a bear tooth, which you can make into a new potion which gives you the ability to see all hostile mobs within 50 blocks very easily ( like a bear's hunting instincts) it also finds you almost anywhere you go. it breaks down doors.it does 2 hearts per attack.it could be like 3 blocks tall and 2 blocks long and wide. anything else people could just make up and see feedback.
oh sorry well like 15 hearts Most hostile mobs have 10 hearts i guess. im not too sure as for drops it drops a new item, a bear tooth, which you can make into a new potion which gives you the ability to see all hostile mobs within 50 blocks very easily How and OP( like a bear's hunting instincts) it also finds you almost anywhere you go Again, OP.Creepers only follow you 16 blocks it breaks down doors.it does 2 hearts per attack.it could be like 3 blocks tall and 2 blocks long and wide. anything else people could just make up and see feedback.
Needs work and It's from Mo'Creatures. LBNL, Mojang probably wouldn't add a mob like this.

Isn't it weird thatpalindrome is emordnilap backwards?
In that case, I think I'll pass. Unless there's a reasonable visibility limit, a bear following you around wherever with almost no escape is gonna be a no go for players. The bear tooth potion is a little random. Apart from the bear tooth thing, this mob sounds like a bigger version of a zombie but can chase you easier. You don't want to post a suggestion where you're not sure of the stats, because that'll come off as pure laziness.

Hey, you there. Yes, you! Are you thinking about posting a suggestion on the forums anytime soon? If so, please read this before doing so.
If you're putting in bears, you should also put in beehives.
I see bears as a block-destroying neutral mob. They'll destroy any leaf blocks looking for apples (and berries, but we won't tell them Minecraft doesn't have berries). You'll be able to tell if you're in an area with a bear if you find a whole bunch of trees with all the low branches stripped off. If they're near water, they will fish. And if a player can hang around sneakily, maybe they can grab a fish from a bear.
Bears can't be tamed, but they will walk toward leaf blocks and beehive blocks (and cake), which they will destroy. But a clever player could lure a bear into a cage by placing a trail of leaf blocks.
Bears can be bred via fermented apples, which are made of Apple + Honey + Brown Mushroom.
Again, I think bears should be a neutral mob unless they are attacked. But a mother with cubs is always hostile. [Edit: actually, change that; since Minecraft doesn't distinguish between male and female animals, both parents become hostile. That should make for some pretty interesting bear breeding projects.]
