Personally, I think endstone looks really cool. It's one of my favourite blocks. I'd like it if it were renewable, but the end spawns only one island with endstone, and while there is a lot of endstone there, it isn't renewable enough for some of the stuff I want to use it for, plus, most people don't want to go all the way to the end every time they run out so here's an idea. There will be a fluid in the end (because minecraft definitely needs more fluid) it would spawn in pools in the end and would have a texture like the end portal. It has the spread speed and radius of water but causes the user to take damage while they stand in it at suffocation rate. You can also craft it like so:
oeo
ebe
ooo o = obsidian e = endstone b = lava bucket
It would be called end ooze and when it comes in contact with water, it generates end stone. Items are not destroyed in the end ooze. So what do you think?
I like it! I like endstone, this would be a good way to do it!
Also: If this were added, I'd make a moat of this around my house. Would be burglers fall in, die in the liquid, but their items are funneled into hoppers
What unholy madness could you possibly be using all of the endstone in a single survival world for.
Also don't try to speak for others. Your feelings are not those of 'many people.'

Humanity is the creation of Logic and Emotion, Calculation and Imagination, Cold Analysis and Blind Faith. This is why I believe it is a strange Human that would prize one while shunning the other. For a calculator can do math just as well as you, but a calculator can not use math to make the world a better place.
Way to get more End Stone? Sure. Why not? But not like this. I don't care for this. Maybe throwing Cobblestone or Smooth Stone into an End Portal has a 50% chance of chucking an End Stone back out. But I don't like the crazy evil ooze thing.

I like the idea of some kind of harmful liquid in the End... The liquid angle of your idea intrigues me more than the renewable endstone part does. Why not call it Quicksilver?
I feel that if they made the End, well, endless, there would be endless endstone (try saying that five times fast). I support renewable endstone, but not like this. But some end ooze would be cool.
Endstone should really be renewable.
But the liquid thing is a bit weird : Lava and water generate blocks when touching, though that is due to the fact that the water is coolong the lava/magma down by a severe degree (pun intended).
Lava is molten rock.
End ooze is what ? Molten endstone ?
Endstone should be generated by .... Destilating end ooze. Maybe.

I know many people who like endstone and don't want to go the end every time they run out. It's not that I require a lot, it's just that I hate traveling to a stronghold every time I need it. A portable way to get there would also suffice (if only for after killing the dragon).

Love the idea, support.
End definitely needs more. As of now its just a floating stone island with obsidian, a liquid would make it seem a little more dangerous. And while I don't use Endstone that much in survival, (Probably more because of its difficulty to obtain) I could see plenty of people liking a way to have renewable Endstone, especially on servers. (Server I used to play on had practically no end after about a month on that map.)

It'd have the benefit of making a fluid unique to the end, and making endstone renewable.
