"Summoning Scrolls" would work by simply having them selected and right clicking, summoning any mob. You can not choose which mob would be summoned, it is previously determined. These scrolls cannot be crafted and can only be obtained through trading or finding them in desert temples. Usage of the scroll to summon any mob will deal an amount of XP that will cost more for more powerful mobs(Wither, Blaze, etc.) Mobs would protect the user and fight any mobs that attack the player. This is not OP by any means, there would be no Ender Dragon scroll, and the most powerful scrolls would be VERY expensive, maybe up to 70 emeralds. They would also be a very rare find in desert temples. Additional, the mob would only last for around 5 minuets. After usage, you will not get your scroll back, and any mobs that the summoned mob killed will not give XP orbs.
Additionally, there would be "Sealing Scrolls", which would be obtained by same use as summoning scrolls. Sealing Scrolls will seal a mob and when right clicked upon a villager priest, you will receive emeralds or either XP. However, Sealing Scrolls would be even rarer than Summoning Scrolls. Sealing Scrolls also provide an alternative to killing an powerful mob. I am also considering adding "Elemental Scrolls" such as Fire, Wind, Earth and Water(perhaps lightning). These scrolls would also be even more expensive than Sealing and Summoning Scrolls. To use them, simply have them in your inventory, and use commands for different attacks. For example, when using the Lightning scroll, you can summon a lightning bolt down from the heavens with /lighting bolt. This would be like the Bending mod, but less OP.
Yeah... This isn't very game fitting. We don't need to slowly turn Minecraft into an Elder Scrolls game. We have enough helper mobs to get by, and it'd be extremely stupid to use 70 Emeralds to summon a mob that sticks around for 5 minutes.
