So I got these ideas one day, and wanted to suggest them. One thing that would be AWESOME to add is Lava fish. You need a certain bait for it to do any good (Adding something to a fishing rod). It restores 4 hunger, and maybe it can only be caught in a Hell biome (Which is the nether)? Either way, I don't mind, as long as there are lava fish :). Next thing I'd like to talk about is an adjustment to the new scoreboard system. I kinda want to keep track of the number of hits dealt or taken. This would make a snowball fight much better. It might have other uses, too. Next thing I'd like to talk about is better beach biomes. They are kinda boring right now...just sand and water. BUT...add some palm trees (plus new type of wood!), make it to where you can grow bananas on them, and poof! Better beach biome (if anybody has any other ideas to add to the better beaches, please say so! I would like to see these ideas in Vanilla Minecraft). Now Notch had the idea, but this needs to be added SOON. A sky realm, similar (but not quite) to the Aether. The place should be eternal day and have MANY new items and features. Although I think something so awesome should require effort (I personally thought all the effort to get to the End was pointless, though...the realm isn't very fun). Not a glowstone portal, since that is easy. I think it should require going to the Nether, though. And for my last idea, magic. Let's face it, we all want it. Not very complicated magic, but basic zips and zaps. Of course, it would take mana or magic power or something away.
If anybody likes these ideas, please spread the word! It would be AWESOME to have these in the Vanilla Minecraft! Thanks for taking the time to read this, and have a nice day!
Enchanting is technically magic, except infused in a weapon/tool/armor I scratch my head in wonder why so many people are against normal-magic.
it's like those people who say guns don't fit in Minecraft for mediocre reasons. (old-type guns that have certain advantages and disadvantages over bows and other weapons)
OT: on another note I simply can't understand this suggestion at all.

There is a small suggestions thread for this type of thing
These ideas are mostly unoriginal and have been rejected many times already, for various reasons
Not everyone wants magic. Actually I'd imagine that the majority don't want magic. Don't presume to speak for everyone
Ugly block of text. Please learn what formatting is
These ideas are not detailed enough even for the small suggestions thread. Try thinking things through properly next time
You should read the suggestions forum rules before posting new suggestions. Anyway, possibly a redundant statement but no support in any way, shape or form.
Hey, you should quit being so critical! I WASN'T speaking for everyone (although it did sound like it, I guess). That's me saying, "Magic would be cool." Next, unoriginal? Okay, so what's original? Explain that. Third, I know how to format. There's a difference in not knowing and being too lazy to. In fact, I love writing stories, so clearly I know how to format. Fourth, your a hypocrite. "Don't speak for everyone," you said. You did JUST that. "Actually I'd imagine the majority don't want magic." Hey, the majority might not. The majority might.
I apologize for not realizing that wishlists are prohibited, won't happen again. But next time you go criticize somebody, think it through. You turned yourself in a douche and hypocrite.

Ha ha, no problem. You make a good point, though. I wouldn't like guns in Minecraft. I always was bad at explaining things though >.< I just thought I'd add a few suggestions. Apparently I broke a bunch'a rules though :S

You just broke a heck of a lot more rules (like flaming). But to answer some things:
Half the point of this section is to be critical. One half is suggesting ideas for the game, and the other half is evaluating, critiquing, and discussing those ideas. Being critical is offering criticism and critiquing an idea. Nothing wrong with being critical, provided you aren't rude, which he was not. He certainly was blunt, and not everyone can distinguish the difference all the time.
You certainly looked like you were speaking for everyone. You said "Face it, we all want it." That you cannot dispute, so it is good you admitted it.
Original is something that has not been thought up by someone else, or follows a similar concept in a different way. For example, the Allocator thread is unique. There have been copies of it, but it is the best thought out and different. There are tons of unique ideas in this section, but I know for a fact that several of yours have been suggested before in much better detail, making your version not unique.
Also, if you can format, don't be lazy. Half of your idea is how you present it. Besides, it takes 30 seconds to format properly. There is an excuse for not formatting perfectly because you don't know how. But there is no excuse for laziness.
He was not a hypocrite. He specifically says:
Not everyone wants magic. Actually I'd imagine that the majority don't want magic. Don't presume to speak for everyone
Key words there have been bolded. He doesn't deal in absolutes (so clearly he isn't a Sith) like "everyone" or "nobody" like you did (saying "we all" is like saying "everyone"). He also said that he imagines the majority does not. Meaning he thinks that many people do not. He still didn't say everyone, and he didn't express it as a fact. It is his belief that a lot of people don't want it, which he can gather after spending 5 minutes in this section. It gets talked about a lot here and a lot of people have said they do not want it. You however, stated it like it was a fact of life. So he is in no way a hypocrite.
Also, there is no reason to be rude. The only one who is being mean or rude is you.
