I think, because there are only two types of villages, there should be more. Here are my ideas
Treetop Villages
Treetop Villages are villages with buildings on jungle trees. All the buildings are connected by wooden bridges. The village may be accessed by a ladder on a tree. All villagers here are dressed in a tribal look, with tiki masks and different clothing. Buildings are mostly made of wood.
Sea Villages:
Sea Villages are villages that are near the sea. There is a dock here, and one Boatmaster spawns at this dock. The boatmaster will give you raw and cooked fish, boats, fishing rods, and water buckets in exchange for various items. He may also want these items. Buildings are mostly made of wood and cobblestone. There is also a boardwalk along the shore. Glowstone lamps decorate the dock and boardwalk.
Tundra Village:
Tundra Villages are located in Tundra biomes. The buildings are made of wood and cobblestone, but every house has a fireplace. The villagers are dressed in warm clothing here. There is a new building here: a large campfire with fire being lit on Netherrack, just like the fireplaces in houses.
Hmmm... I like it. Maybe an extremely rare village for mushroom island, where they live inside red shroom huts and have shroom based trades? I know that villages and shroom islands are both very rare... But it would be quite entertaining to see little shroom villages.
Not bad, but I don't like changing the physical appearance of the villagers based on the village. And I think the Boatmaster is kind of unneeded, since there are only 3 Fishing items and 2 are already traded by Farmers. Maybe when fishing gets improved though.
