I Think There Should Be Ruins, (Broken Tower, Ancient NPC Villages)
Story Behind Ancient Villages: Back In 800 B.C Settlers Discovered a New World, and Settled There and Set Up Their Village, To Start another Community of Minecraftia Then an Army of Zombies Invaded The Villages About 500 B.C and the Villagers Abandoned The Village and Then Vines Started Growing around the Village and It Started Turning To Ruins Throughout The Years.
Also There Should Be Ancient Artifacts, That Give more info of how the villagers lived. Also I Believe The Villages should be different like: (Sand Village, Mud Village, Stone Village.
The core idea of scattered ruins is not bad one. But I found it hilarious how you put across the back-story also the use of BC. This isn't really a small suggestion, if it's adding a entire back-story to Minecraft it's kind of a big deal.
Thanks, Im Kinda Learning about The Mayan Civilization in Social Studies and i found it Interesting.
I like the idea of there being more ruins scattered around the world. Temples are nice, but temples aren't the only thing ancient Testificates would have built! With Nether Quartz, you could now come across things that look like Roman ruins, just for an example.
Abandoned villages infested by zombies, run-down old churches with dungeons under them (lol Tristram ), old fragments of highway with moldy old inns festering on the side of the road... Abandoned structures could really add some thematic creepiness to the game, or could be played as more straight-up adventuring for loot.

I Have This Planned Out
Nope. This is Minecraft, where there's no definite start or end. Here, the players make up the adventure/stories.
Why Do You Capitalize Every Word In A Sentence? I support the tower and old barren villages, but none of the history stuff.

True, but this was just a small suggestion. Nothing serious or something. But these are just ideas.
