Cardboard is crafted like this. It returns 16 cardboard pieces.
Cardboard is used for many things. The first being cardboard boxes. They are crafted like this, paper being cardboard. Cardboard boxes have 9 slots, each for storage, like a chest. Cardboard boxes can be placed next to each other, without connecting, allowing infinite rows of them. Also, if you shift and right click on it, you will pick it up with both hands like a map. You are unable to switch to any other item, until you place it back down. You walk slow as sneaking. There are two downsides to the "miracle" box. First, the boxes are flammable. You will need to be careful with them. The second being if you break the boxes, the items will spill out, but the box will not drop to be placed again.
Cardboard can be crafted into cartons. They are crafted like this. You get three back. You can fill them with water, and milk. Right click a water source, or cauldron to fill it with water. Right click a cow to get milk. You can drink the water, which gives you speed for two seconds. Drinking milk restores potions effects, and gives you haste for four seconds. To make it not OP, water and milk cartons are not stackable, and empty cups are stackable to 16.
Some crafting recipes are changed. Item frames and books use cardboard instead of leather.
Leather can be used to make mats now, so it isn't left useless. Mats are crafted like this. You get back 8. You can use any colored wool. These are purely decorative, and don't make you use full wool blocks. They act just like snow layers.
Cardboard Boxes
Support. Movable 'Chests' without have to remove the contents sounds nice. However, I'd suggest no being able to remove items once placed as it makes it less OP over chests and makes them more for Storage. (Harvesting would consume the box and drop the items).
Cardboard Cups
Nope... Sorry :3
Mats
Support. Although, Leather might seem a little much. Maybe just 2x Wool side by side (like Pressure Plates).

The box idea sounds good, so it is even less OP. I will add that. The reason why leather is needed is so that leather is not only needed for armor, since cardboard replaced leather in books and item frames.
Lapis lazuli, carved sandstone, stone brick, colored wood, wool, or quartz anyone?

I give support! Except I don't like the cardboard carton. Another thing is that you should be able to create a mine cart with cardboard box which you can take the cardboard box out and you can place a cardboard box in an empty mine cart

Thoughts?
I am...
On the fence about this idea.

Cardboard boxes are movable, so you don't have to break the chest spilling the items everywhere.
Why is that?
The box idea sounds good, so it is even less OP. I will add that. The reason why leather is needed is so that leather is not only needed for armor, since cardboard replaced leather in books and item frames.
Also, I changed the poll to multiple choice.

Carboard boxes would be fun, like a makeshift backpack, but cups need a little balancing.
