Many, such as I, are displeased with the results of defeating the allmighty EnderDragon. You earn a ton of XP, have the gratitude of knowing you beat the game, and that's it. But what if there was an ore that could make all of that excruciating work worth it? Say hello to Ender Crystal!
What Is EnderCrystal? EnderCrystal is a new ore that naturally spawns in the End. It is not very rare at all, practically as rare as coal. As well, it spawns in groups of 1-3. It looks similar to Emeralds, but with an EndStone background, not to mention the crystals are purple. An interesting factor: Every few seconds, the gems shine a whit-ish purple glow. It will give you the ore itself, in which you must put in a furnace to smelt into purple crystals. But heed the fact that to smelt 1 ore it takes 2 coal, a harsh price, but alas it will be far worth it.
What Weapons Come From EnderCrystal? EnderCrystal, like all ores besides the exception of Lapis Lazuli, Redstone, and Nether Quartz, make a full set of tools. The tools are the same except for the fact that the staff is made of a Blaze Rod and the blade is made of the EnderCrystal. The statistics are below.
What Can EnderCrystal Do With Enchanting? In an enchanting table, there would be a new spot. Each EnderCrystal you place in that box, the table acts as if you have 10 more levels, and you don't lose those 10 levels. With the proper supplies, you can enchant weapons freely without the hassle of losing precious levels, and as well as enchanting weapons without the need to kill as many mobs.
Are There Any Loopholes Of Getting EnderCrystal? To incure EnderCrystal's rarity and security, there is no other way to obtain it. You must go to the end and defeat the EnderDragon, sorry.
The reason there's no ore in the end is because the end isn't unlimited like the overworld or nether.
At first the weapons and tools you get would be very OP, especially if you could make armor.
And if you play long enough you will be low on ender crystal and it will become too awesome to use, which is never a good thing in games.
-1 support(Yes, I can remove the support from other people.)
No support, as the first person to reach the End in multiplayer would get 100 XP, tons of free enchanted uber-better-than-diamond gear, and could basically spawnkill everyone after stripmining all of it out of the end.
