I think it should be a 4 block tall creature holding like a torch and a pick that spawns once in its large new mineshaft room that is 5 wide 5 high and it can break through the paths of the mineshaft (as its old rotten wood) and will attack you on sight, it should drop the pick it holds and 1-10 torches (the pick would be diamond) and when you kill it you will get the amount of XP it takes to get to level 20, this would be cool, and in the room it spawns in there should be some chests with torches and mushrooms and stuff in, a giant spider seems pointless as there are already giant spiders like the normal spider, if you think about it there giant spiders.
Does not sound good to me. Seriously... Not very creative making a boss mob that holds a tool. (Actually, it is fine if it is an original tool but just a pickaxe...uhh...no)
it should spawn in those rooms with the dirt floor with a couple of poisonous spiders and that and If u kill it you get some special silk sword and more chests spawn around the mineshafts
This is pretty good. Half-support because I'm partially an arachniphobe and the thought of more spiders scares me.
It's a great idea, but you should add a kind of 'panic' mechanic by making the slimes create a puddle of glow plop or whatever where they jump, so the puddles never actually 'run out'.
And you should make the spider flip out and enrage at a certain health percentage. You should (I'm sorry for all the suggestions.) make it so you have to jump to the side to dodge the spider as it charges, then once it hits a wall or something else (Spikes maybe?) Hit it while it's down. That would add a mechanic for all of the people that want 'less mouse spam'.
