Hey guys,
I was watching a video of Unhost on YouTube today and there is a part where there are some dispensers and he has to load only one bone meal per dispenser. It caught my attention that he had to open the dispenser UI each time, drag&drop the bone meal then close the UI. I thought to myself that this was unnecessarily long, and there should be a quicker way.
So, lets say that you have a stack of arrows that you want to load to a dispenser, normally you would do this:
But then, it would be much easier to do this:
To load a single item from a stack, or just a single item:
To load a whole stack:
Of course, these hotkey combinations are what i thought of what could be easy and quick, they may change.
Thank you for reading!
TL;DR: Mouse Wheel Click -> load an item to a chest/dispenser/etc.
TL: Open the spoilers.

Many things would make Minecraft more realistic. So would guns, helicopters, taxes and cancer.
Wouldn't it be really just as quick to shift-click? Not to mention that some of our mouses(Mice?) don't have actual wheels that can be clicked very easily.
Lets say you have 10 dispensers to fill with only one arrow each from a stack, like i explained, you should *right click* take the stack *right click* to an empty place and hit "E" or "Escape" to close the UI.
But with this system, you would just "Mouse Wheel Click" on each dispenser. 1 operation instead of 3. And also, mouse wheel was just an example and what i thought that could be easy and quick, it can be a different key, or it can be bindable.
To completely understand what i am talking about, you may watch the video from the marked time.
(Takes about 24-25 seconds)
Thank you.

Decent idea, no strong feelings either way though.
Well thank you.
Today i did a little experiment, with this system it takes about 4 seconds to put one item each in 10 dispenser, and without it, fastest i could do was 17 seconds. It dramatically decraeses the time you spend.

Actually quite like this idea. Although I don't mind shift clicking, and it doesn't take much longer, this would still be handy.
Thank you so much for the support, but just as i said, i experimented, and for only 10 dispenser it saves up to 13-15 seconds. Now this may not seem like much but imagine you are working with more, for 100 loading action (not just dispensers, but any kind of loading) saves 2 minutes, and consider that i did my best to load those items fastest as possible, so it will go up to 3-4 minutes.
Anyway, again, thank you so much for the support.
