I have a small suggestion on how players should be affected by weather in minecraft. Say you spawn in the middle of the desert......The sun is out and its hot as hell. if you dont find shade or water you will start to "dehydrate" which could be a bar above where your health is. If your "dehydration" bar empties your health starts to decline like it would if you were hungry........And I say "dehydration" because that could mean you have been in the sun too long without being in the shade or in water. Along with dehydration could be a warmth bar. If you are stranded in the middle of a snow biome, you will be forced to make a fire and get out of the cold or else you will start to freeze. it is the same idea as the "dehydration" bar just in the cold. Another small suggestion to go along with being in the snow, a way you can stay warm would be making clothing out of say leather and string.....leather to make the shirt and string to stitch it all together
It would make it especially hard to survive, which is why I think it could be added to only hardcore mode. Also along with rain water could be able to get on your character and when you press F5 you can see water droplets drenching you.
Why do i bother making suggestions if people are just going to ignore them and suggest EXACTLY the same thing 5 mins later?
Seriously, it happens ALL. THE. TIME. http://www.minecraft.../#entry20566588
It is not a "heat meter." It was going to be a "dehydration bar," like in Fallout: New Vegas.
